Oh my gosh, that is truly mortifying. He can't be the picture of stability, either. I love her voice, and her in general. But yeah, this really doesn't sound like it is headed anywhere great.

OK, so she was out of the spotlight, living a pretty quiet private life for at least 10-15 years and all of a sudden we're on overshare overdrive. WTF? And soon-to-be-not-ex-husband is a counselor of some sort? What is HE thinking?

I think people just started paying attention lately. Whenever the media checks in with her she has sounded pretty crazy. I suspect stuff like this has been going on for awhile.

She usually comes up with a new attention-getting stunt every few years: coming out as a lesbian, then taking it back; being ordained as a Catholic priest, then going back to denouncing the Church; getting married and divorced several times and losing custody of her children; going on Oprah to say she's bi-polar and tried to commit suicide. The only new thing here is her ability to reach a bigger audience with twitter.

Its sad -- seems like she can't accept the fact she's no longer as relevant and lauded as she was in the 1980s and feels the need to come up with this stuff. Just sing, Sinead!

Oh, I guess it was never posted here, but it's mentioned in that article that she claimed over twitter that Arsenio Hall was responsible for Prince's death and that she had reported him to the police department. Arsenio subsequently sued her for $5 million. |
