For someone in Sinead's situation, hospitalization is a good thing, IMO. It means she's seeking (and hopefully getting) the help she needs. But yeah, social media is not a great place for her to work things out.

DailyFail had pics of Sinead at her son’s cremation so her hospital stay was short but I do worry for her own well being. OMG, that's sick. Stalking a kid's cremation? I can't even. I agree that it's good for her to be getting medical and psychiatric care right now. I hope she has a good support system.

Just like all of you, I've been watching Sinead's suffering ebb and flow for decades. While it is very sad to watch, her story isn't rare at all.
From reading between the lines, I get the feeling that Sinead is a very difficult person to be around long term. I think as much as she wants her loved ones in her life, she takes out her self hatred on them. I think her support system tends to be doctors and hospitals. I imagine that loving her is exhausting.
I am so sad her son committed suicide and I think it's commendable that she flat out states that it is a shit solution. Even so, I hate that everytime her thread makes it to the top, I think that it will finally he her self-imposed end. It almost seems inevitable.
I wish her peace.

It's incredibly sad to lose such a talent, but I hope her soul is at peace and she's reunited with her son. My sympathies for her three living children because this must be so hard for them.

Oh no! I just joined Apple music recently and I have been enjoying listening to her music that takes me back to my college days. Rest in peace, Sinead.

She struggled for so long with so much. It felt as though losing her soon was inevitable. Honestly, it says a lot for her courage and strength to go through so much mental anguish and survive as long as she did.
I always imagined she was exhausting to be around but I bet when she was good, that she was amazing.
Her song 8 Good Reasons got me through rough times. Rest in peice Sinead.

I had just been thinking of her earlier this week, for some reason. She had such a tumultuous life. She seemed to have found some peace when she converted to Islam, but the loss of her son - devastating. She had posted some things a little over a week ago that made it clear she was not in a good place. There are no words for that kind of pain.

Poor lady. Life was such a struggle for her, and she fought hard for a very long time. If anybody deserves to rest in peace, it's her.

Terribly sad news. She endured so much. I hope she is finally at peace, and that Shane was there to greet her.
