Guy Ritchie's latest starring Gerard Butler, Mark Strong and Thandie Newton gets a release date of October 31st....but I just saw it at TIFF and it was...... FANTASTIC! If you liked "Snatch", you'll love this. Its really Mark Strong's movie, but Butler gets a lot of screen time and some of the best scenes (dancing with both Newton and Tom Hardy). It looks witty and violent and stars Gerard Butler. I'm so there! I would love to see this now, but it seems like it will be forever until it opens (end of October.) Much hype, long wait - me no likey. Grrr.

I like Guy Ritchie films in general. Yet sometimes I feel like he keeps telling the same story over and over. Still, I'll see it cuz I'm a movie whore.

Saw it like a week ago and enjoyed it. Gerard was hot as ever and funny, charming, etc. The junkie lifestyle was so well portrayed in this movie – kudos to Guy Ritchie on everything really. Nice acting from everyone particularly Toby Kebbell and Tom Wilkinson. Tom Hardy is a babe, and I have developed a serious crush on Mark Strong (Archie.) Thandie Newton’s character couldn’t dance worth a shit. That along with the shortest sex scene ever constituted quite a few laughs. I’ll probably buy this one on DVD.

Watched this again tonight and realized I really, really, REALLY would love to see a buddy-flick of any kind starring Gerard Butler, Idris Elba and Tom Hardy.
