Sookie never bothered me as much as Bill, for some reason. Bill made me cringe. His accent is like a bad Elvis impression.

I read the first book and that did me in. Sookie seemed like a downmarket version of CH's previous mystery series with Aurora Teagarden, which weren't that great either in retrospect.

I think the writing is over-the-top cheese but all the good actors rise to the occassion. Nelsan Ellis, Sam Trammell, Chris Bauer, & Deborah Ann Woll are consistently good. Ryan Kwanten has improved. Kristen Von Statton is decent. The three leads just aren't good actors. Rutina Wesley sucks the most.

Sookie as a character is one of the most annoying things on TV. My least favorite, and indistinguishable from Rogue.

I'm sorry but the gap in her teeth is so distracting I can't watch her in anything. I just want to send her to an orthodontist. (Yeah, I know, gaps in teeth are a thing but I don't find it attractive.)

Hers is just so... big. Like you could stick a straw through it.
I've only stuck around for Eric, Lala and Pam. (Jason's funny when he's not being lead around by his dick.)

Tara's been made into a hysterical and sassy, angry black woman which drives me crazy. Her character is off the rails, but I think I remember liking her in the earlier seasons.

Bumping this thread because I recently re-watched the first X-Men movie.
Ok, so we can all agree that her acting on True Blood was awful. But her acting in this movie was astonishingly putrid. Like, K-Stew levels of crap. The wide eyes, deep breaths, lack of emotion in general...it occurred to me that if Anna were about 10 years younger, she probably would've been up for the Bella Swan role. Which is kind of funny considering she did play Bella Swan on True Blood.
If I had to choose, I'd say she was even worse than Halle Berry.

I've never really been a fan of hers, but I recently watched Margaret for the first time and found both the film and her performance in it astonishing.
