I'm really loving Picard, just spent this week rewatching from Episodes 1 to 7, and caught several things I missed first time through, in addition to the episode 5 plot twist. Loved seeing 7 of 9 again. Spoiler I'm very sad about the death of Hugh. Of all the "guest stars" in TNG, he had the biggest hold on my heart.

I’ve been enjoying it too - I really liked this last episode with River and Troi.
I was super-pissed about that spoiler, especially who was responsible for it (totally the worst character on the show).

Yes, the spoiler pissed me off and really upset me. I cannot stand the responsible character either.
The Riker/Troi episode has to be my favourite so far. I'm open to seeing where the series is going but it's very depressing for me. I know it's supposed to be dark but the levels of cynicism are weighing me down.

I assume it's okay on this board to say you want a TV character to die in a fire? And I hope we get to watch. And I hope it's 7of9 who does it. Forgot to say about the Troi and Reiker appearance: I'm also really enjoying Lost in Space, I know it's written for kids and young adults, but at this point in history the idea of escaping to Alpha Centauri with other smart people is reaaallllly appealing, KWIM??? I've been having trouble imagining how a colony would operate, but that episode made me realize that's what it would be like, people living in beautiful log cabins sorta separated from each other, with gardens, with weird Captain Crandall over there at the lake. Now I really wanna go.

It made me happy to see the whole TNG gang call in for Marina Sirtis' birthday

I am a bad Trek fan because I haven't watched Picard yet! I am gearing up for a mega-watch, though.
BBC America recently got the rights to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and have taken full advantage by running an apparent marathon of the series. It is a tough call, but I really think that might be my favorite of all Treks, even all these years later. I also was lucky enough to see the DS9 documentary "What We Left Behind" last year and, although there were a couple of things I might have wanted to tweak, overall that was a long overdue treat as a "Niner."

So I watched the animated Star Trek Lower Decks. It was okay. The animation is great and I love the music. I'll keep watching of course.
