I like both Trisha’s and LeAnn’s versions. The difference to me is that LeAnn is singing the song…Trisha is living that song. There is just subtle nuance of life experience there. For me, it's the difference between a teenager's first crush and an adult's mature love. I like both versions, but I think they chose the right one for Con Air, which I also love. And another Can't Fight the Moonlight fan here! LeAnn looked really good in Coyote Ugly- I remember she was dating the male lead who then dumped her for Piper Perabo, who'd been the female lead. |

How can you talk bad about Con Air when it gave us this?!I know right, tell em.  Topic: I liked LeAnn's version of Praying on The Masked Singer. I'd never heard that song before and looked up the original. Beautiful! LeAnn is obviously a great singer but I didn't really get the goosebumps and chills like the judges were going on about during her performances. That show is a revelation though, I got sucked into a good hour of watching other performances and who knew Nick Carter was so damn good? Or Jesse McCartney? Or Bow Wow? Or Tori Kelly? Okay, obviously other people did, I've been out of the loop. Gladys Knight singing Wrecking Ball? Serving everything I didn't know I needed. |

The Masked Singer is too surreal and frightens me but I'm glad she had the opportunity to remind people that she has a gorgeous tone and always has. Any love for Can't Fight the Moonlight? Just me? Watching Coyote Ugly used to be one of my guilty pleasures. |

Seeing the Tori Spelling thread back on the first page made me wonder about LeAnn Rimes and her man. They're still going strong, at least, that's what their publicist says. |

It never dawned on me how similar those two relationships are. Eddie and Dean seem almost interchangeable in my mind since I don't know much about them other than they tossed their old wives and families for a wealthier and more famous wife in really douchey circumstances.
I feel like LeAnn made a decision somewhere along the line that being perceived as "hot" was more important than anything else and her career has lagged as a result. I feel sympathy for her because I can only imagine how scarring it would be to come of age in the public eye, but I still find someone who needs to constantly post bikini pics of herself to be pretty annoying.
