I agree. It seems like this season the show has regressed Leslie back to how she was in season one when she was really hyper and annoying. Even though I don't think the show ever really figured out what to do with Ann I think it is a mistake to get rid of her and Chris. They were two of the more normalish characters on the show. Without them it's going to be a lot of outsize personalities with no counter-balance. Especially if they make Donna's counterpart Craig a recurring character. He is just too much.

Two words, Greg Pikitis and Baby Knope-Wyatt.

So I watched some of the first season of this show, and hated it. So I avoided it completely.
Then while home sick this weekend, I started watching at season 2 and now I'm in love with it. The characters are real, the relationships are honest, and everyone is just so sweet. Leslie and Ben are the first "will they or won't they" couple that I think is believable--and who knew that Rob Lowe could be so hilarious?
So y'all were right about this show, and I was wrong.

Good news, kateln--you can still be right! I think everyone agrees that the first season was pretty bad.

It took a few episodes to find it's funny. I started enjoying it when Leslie dated the sweet cop. It's been a gem since then.

Ben Schwartz (Jean-Ralphio) tweeted: Parks and Rec's final season starts on Jan 13 at 8pm w/ back to back episodes EVERY WEEK till the Feb. 24th hourlong series finale at 9pm.

OMG! WERNER HERZOG IS GUEST STARRING ON PARKS AND REC RIGHT NOW! I think he should be better than this, and I love this show, but regardless, there he is. So weird, I might be hallucinating. He's selling his home, the former insane asylum for people who went crazy working in the doll head factory to April and Andy. So he can move to Orlando. And be closer to Disneyworld.
SO VERY WEIRD, I MUST SHOUT! Oh, and I love Werner Herzog, too.

I love Werner Herzog too! It's his voice, it is utterly hypnotic. So in 2017 we will have holograms on our phones? Looking forward to it I found most of last season kind of tiresome, and Leslie still grates a little. But I did like last night's episodes. I'm sad that this is the last season even though I do think it's time for it to end. I'm optimistic it's going to go out on a high note.

April and Andy are still my favorites, amazing how Chris Pratt was just a minor character and the actor who played so and so in Everwood when this show started and now he is like a major movie star.
