GleePLOT: From Ryan Murphy, the creator of "Nip/Tuck" and "Popular," comes GLEE, a one-hour musical comedy that follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of all: Nationals. Will Schuester, a young optimistic teacher, has offered to take on the Herculean task of restoring McKinley's Glee Club to its former glory. Everyone around him thinks he's nuts. He's out to prove them all wrong. Extended TrailerDon't Stop Believin' Trailer* * * The premiere will be on Tuesday 5/19 at 9/8c on FOX. This looks really sweet and clever. I love Lea Michele, plus, Jane Lynch is just beyond awesome. I'll be tuning in. Anyone else?

Oh man, I saw the extended trailer for this last night and...I'm kind of really looking forward to this. If only to see a full length version of the show-choir version of "Rehab."

My daughter was in the sixth-grade choir this year, and she's well on her way to becoming a choir geek like her mom. We can't wait to watch this!

yep, the musical theatre choir kid in me is super duper excited! I'm just sad that we get one episode, and then have to wait all summer until the show actually starts!

If only to see a full length version of the show-choir version of "Rehab." Hint: Go to iTunes Store. They have the entire 2:20 minute Rehab stint up for freeeeeeeeeee!  yep, the musical theatre choir kid in me is super duper excited! I'm just sad that we get one episode, and then have to wait all summer until the show actually starts! I hate FOX. Heh. But I think iTunes might be showing episode early. |

Normally, tv shows and movies centered on teenagers don't interest me at all but I admit I'm looking forward to Glee.

I will absolutely be watching this show. Six-year showchoir veteran here. Could not be more excited. Same here! I was a Choir/Theatre geek and loved every minute of it. Plus, the cast sound amazing. Not to mention endearing. It kinda feels like "Freaks and Geeks" meets "Fame" and "Sister Act 2". Not sure if that sounds right, but hey, I'm sticking with it! I heard they did an extended behind-the-scenes look at the show with exclusive clips during "The Twenty" before "Angels & Demons". I hope it is received well! |

Normally, tv shows and movies centered on teenagers don't interest me at all but I admit I'm looking forward to Glee. This. And my cold black heart usually hates feel-good musicals, but this looks fun. LOVE Jane Lynch! And I read that Victor Garber and Cheno will have recurring guest spots too. They make me irrationally happy. Spin, I thought of Freaks and Geeks too. Freaks and Geeks meets Fame (meets Sister Act 2, hee), written by the creator of Nip/Tuck? I'm there! |
