YAY! I'm thrilled that my Greecies are with me.

When I saw this was from the creator of POPULAR, too, I was sold. Remember when shows were like, important? (Okay, so maybe there are still some out there that are) But I remember when shows also made you feel good and they were fun and campy. Mr. Spin will be so overjoyed to have me singing along. Hee.

Don't Stop Believin' Extended Performance - Even though it's not the full song, but longer than the trailer, it's on my replay button.

ETA: It's funny you mentioned Cheno, saltpeanut, because I was just talking with a co-worker and they were telling me how awesome it would be if Kristin Chenoweth came on the show.

A friend just lent me the DVDs of POPULAR so I can check it out. I remember Mary Cherry and the actress who's married to Melissa Etheridge now, but other than that I'm drawing a total blank. Hai senility, here so soon?

I still can't believe we get Cheno, Garber and Jane Lynch all on the same show! I was never in the choir - eek the horror of me trying to sing - but my inner theatre geek is doing the happy dance right now.

Oh man, that extended Don't Stop Believin' preview has me STOKED, especially since I did that song in like three different show choirs and two different a cappella groups. It's a popular number. Everything in that preview is so true to life, right down to the uniform of "jeans and brightly-colored matching tops". Although, our set combos were never as good as that guy on the electric guitar. I hope we get to see some of the bitchy behind-the-scenes politics of high school choir/drama--I was both a cheerleader and a choir/drama kid, and my cheerleading squad was like a knitting club compared to some of the backstabbing and power-playing that went on with the arts kids. Oh man.

HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES. I am so excited. If Chenoweth and Garber had been involved in my high school choir I'd never have left.

Tomorrow night is the big debut! And it's been confirmed for a full season at the Fox Upfronts today to appear on Wednesday nights after "So You Think You Can Dance - Results Show". That'll be a good tie in.

I have just watched it, I'm in love. I don't think I've enjoyed an hour of television that much in quite some time. I'm so there in the fall.
