I loved that song my whole life until very recently, when I started really thinking about the lyrics, and realized they're pretty offensive. Thank God it's them instead of you? Seriously? And really, I'm sure SOME people in Africa have snow/presents/normal lives. (As if you have to have a white Christmas, let alone celebrate Christmas at all, to not be totally miserable... WTF? Guess what, there'll be no snow in Los Angeles this Christmastime, and they're doing just fine.)

It's really a very patronizing, nonsensical song. I do still love the "feed the world" chorus, though.

Bob Geldof did admit a couple of years ago that in their haste to get a record out before Christmas, they didn't polish the lyrics to the usual degree. He and Midge Ure both said that if they could go back and redo the whole thing, they'd have taken the time to specifically change the "Tonight thank God it's them instead of you" line and tweak the rest of the lyrics to boot.

Imagine hearing that lyric blasted multiple times every holiday season and knowing you could have taken the time to fix it. I think I'd go nuts.

I highly reccomend being wasted off your ass for the epic Finn/Blaine punching bag scene. It was awesome, but not in the way intended. Because it was supposed to be a serious scene about how awesome Blaine is, instead I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself.

Wow. I didn't think I could hate Will anymore but I do more than ever after that "Moves Like Jagger" dancing. I hate his face so much!!!

The only person that looked good with a skinny scarf is Mike Chang. That was some weird epileptic dancing by Artie.

I just saw some previews for the upcoming episode. It looks like it is going to center around a proposal between Mr. Douchbag-Butt Chin and Emma. I doubt I'll watch, it'll probably be vomit inducing.
