I didn't watch Glee this week but looks like I didn't miss anything (except Matt Bomer's pretty face). Oh, the Duran Duran mashup was a mess! Ugh, I hate when Glee ruins songs that were so good to begin with. I actually felt sympathy pangs for Dwanollah during the Duran Duran mash-up, 'cause that was tragic. My Blaine resentment is no longer at fever pitch, mostly because I'm thisclose to giving up on Glee altogether. I really liked all the songs from last night, but squeezing a story line out of Mr. Schuester's love of Saturday Night Fever felt really forced. Worse even than the Britney/dentist hallucinations episode. |

Xenu help me but I actually took Blaine's side during his tiff with Kurt last night. "How Will I Know" was one of the best covers they've ever done on this show IMO. "I Have Nothing" was horrific though.

I thought for sure that Ryan Murphy would break them up for good so he could have Blaine all to himself.
I understand why Blaine was upset, but Kurt is totally right about Blaine taking over all the solos. But of course, that is due to the aforementioned Mr. Murphy's boner for Blaine.

"I Have Nothing" was horrific though. I saw the clip of "How Will I Know" and I agree it was superbly done. It's amazing what you can accomplish with talent, no auto-tune and keeping it simple. Spinderella, thanks for supplying the songs! I'm looking forward to hearing Cell Block Tango.
Took a peak at some upcoming Glee songs and it looks like Forever Young, Glory Days and I'll Remember are on tap. Really, the best part of Glee is the music.

Yeah, I agree (and thanks again, Spin!). I wonder which version of "Forever Young" they'll do? I think the one by Alphaville will work really well with the theme of the show but they could do the Rod Stewart song too.
