Wow, that is some of the craziest, convoluted shit I've ever read.

I'd read about the murder-suicide on Journalfen a while back, but looking at the Daily Republic article now, I saw a trackback to Colleen Doran's writeup, which I hadn't read before. Is it just me, or does the message the murdered woman's father (supposedly) wrote to Turimel sound a little too much like what Turimel would want to hear? I'm not saying I 100% _don't_ believe it's legit, but it got me pondering who would fake it and why. Turimel, to reinforce her cause? Andrew Blake, because he actually loves Turimel's continued attention? Some third party who's just trolling Turimel? Also, from the graphic design on itsaboutpower.org, I half expected the "Abuse is about one thing. Only one thing. Every time. It's About Power" text to finish up "...so abuse somebody today! Satan is King! Aryan Nation Forever!"

Yeah, sumire, you weren't the only person to notice that Andrew Blake Amy Player's new website has a creepy, pro-abuse vibe to it. As for whether or not the accounts of the murder/suicide are exaggerated or untrue--personally, I can't buy that. I think it sounds a little too bizarre to be true because it's...bizarre. And tragic. People are deceased, after all, and their families are hurting. I can't believe this menace (Amy) is still on the loose. ETA: Much to my shock, some of the earliest victims of Andrew Blake have done some hardcore mending fences. The whole thing has been played out on their blogs, and it is quite the epic. Abbey, Turimel and Diamond, who were involved in the original Tent Moot debacle, have all written lengthy explanations about their experiences, their efforts to heal and appear to have forgiven each other. (!) I really recommend reading all the entries on Abbey's blog, which offer an unvarnished look at Andrew/thanfiction's twisted mind. Powerful stuff. And I am shocked, really and truly shocked, that these women have been able to get past their differences.
