You know, when I see things like this, I always have to wonder how these people function. I mean, at some point you can't even really take care of yourself. You have to be surrounded by people willing to do everything for you and be really invested in going for the record. At least this woman has a bit of perspective in the end. |

Yeah, really how could someone do anything for themselves when they get that extreme. She must have some seriously devoted children or a saint of a spouse because you know, simple stuff like a toilet wipe, or tampon removal isn't happening with fingers like that.

You know, I don't like municipal airplanes flying by my house either, which they do all the time. But it would never occur to me to go get a weapon and shoot at them to try to quiet them down. |

When your fingernails grow to a certain length, don't you develop extra skin and blood vessels around the base of your fingers? I've always heard that if you don't cut them, you reach a point where you can't cut them. Then again, that seems to have old wive's tale written all over it ...

There was an article in the Dallas paper a few years ago about a woman who had eight-inch fingernails. She was bitching about how she couldn't find a job, because no one would hire her since there's really not a lot of jobs that you can do with eight-inch fingernails. She was thinking of suing for discrimination. I don't know what happened, but I doubt she got far since there's no grooming clause in the Bill of Rights. Definite trolling for sympathy fail. |
