Dammit. Every time I think we've reached the end of the Bailey/Hayley/Raleigh/Kayley/Miley/Riley/Kiley awfulness, somebody comes up with something worse. I hope it's OK to post this here. I was reading an article and in it was a woman (Chinese, I believe) named CAIXIA. How in the world would that be pronounced? I think it looks pretty, but I can't for the life of me figure it out.

eta: Thanks, Chonies. BTW, I love your name. My grandkids, who recently moved 300 miles away, use "chonies" for undies, so it makes me smile to see it. Also, "llano estacado" is the area I live in, as well.

It depends on the tones, and I'm guessing it's similar to this: Cǎixiá

I think, based on my one semester of Mandarin, is that it's Chai-sshi-a.

Apparently, they are actually naming her Nancy Leigh, but calling her Naleigh as a nickname. Even odder.

They released the first pics of her and put them on their website.

I'm not sure if they truly qualify as celebrities, but Gavin Newsom, the mayor of San Francisco, and his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom, actress, just had a baby girl named Montana Tessa Newsom. I do not approve.
