Buddy is a dog name. And Birdie, well. Those kids are their pets, I guess. Wanna bet their pets have human names like Charlie or Max or Lucy? Their dog's name was Josie. Well, there you go. |

It's not the worst, but it's not great. It's totally cutesy poo and sounds about right for Katy Perry to choose. Daisy is alright but Daisy Bloom sounds like a bit of a joke name. Daisy Dove- it makes me think of the movie Sexy Beast. One of the characters was a former porn star named DeDe Dove, so that's what comes to mind when I hear Daisy Dove.

Katy naming her daughter Daisy Dove might be the most on brand/Katy Perry thing she’s ever done. It sounds part cartoon/part YA character.
But here’s my confession: I don’t hate it.

On a scale of what I expected out of Katy Perry to what we got out of Katy Perry, Daisy seems perfect. It's a real name, it's not overly trendy, no fake spellings or unnecessary uses of the letter Y. And Daisy is a cute name. |
