Katy’s cat is named Kitty Purry, so Daisy Bloom fits right in.

Omg. I heard the name Daisy Bloom two days ago and I just now understood it. I’m such an idiot. Lol. Anyway, I actually like it. It’s cutsie but not insane. Plus, I just really like the name Daisy.

Is Lyra pronounced Lie-rah or Leer-ah? Is there an agreed upon pronunciation? I like it both ways.

I would pronounce Lyra like 'lie.' That is how it is pronounced in His Dark Materials (book series) which I imagine is where most people become familiar with the name. 'Leera' isn't intuitive to me at all.
Anyway I really like it and Antarctica is in the middle so whatever.

The constellation, Lyra has one of my favorite stars, Vega. So when I hear the name I automatically think of stars. The constellation is associated with the lyre of Orpheus.
I too have always pronounced it like Petitesuite does.

I'm on team Leer-a. It's fine either way, and I like geography names. Between this and Daisy Dove, I vastly prefer Lyra Antarctica.

Allegedly, Lyra is because Ed loves those books, and Antarctica is because they visited there 9 months ago... (Haven't read the books, so I assumed Leer-a, like the start of lyric)
