Fabio was not a good host, he sucked swamp water!

The whole premise of this show was that is was about cooking, but, it wasn't.

It was all about Marcel being an a**hole; the magical elves did this thing, and, then they expect us to believe that Marcel was so over the limit; and, should have expected what came to happen.

Well, thet's kissing swamp water; because, how much does it tell you, that Marcel was asleep; and, all the sudden, he found himself, asaualted by a big huge guy: and, found himself muching carpet, held down by a guy who weighs twice as much as he did.

And, Bravo treats this as a big joke, and, am. I offended, and, hey, Bravo; whatever you choose to venture into in the future is dead to me. I called up my cable company and, said, I never want to see this station again in my lifetime, and, they took it off.

Thank g-d, I never have to see Bravo again

I also think that person is lie-telling.

And I don't think s/he knows what "carpet munching" is. I saw a couple of other posters use that same phrase. Kind of caught me off-guard.

I am currently hating the Real Housewives of OC thread. Intelligent snark is nonexistant and replaced by GWOP-style hatred:

I missed yesterday's show. So how were Kelly's arms?

I can always depend upon this board for intense scrutiny of her upper body. Don't often know who the guests were but by golly, the arms are always thoroughly analysed

They seem to have a Kate Gosselin style hatred going for Kelly. If she's that horrendous, why can't you take your eyes off her?

Today I noticed how she was sitting; arms crossed and her leg up with her foot over the other leg. When she finally unfolded her arms she began scratching! I have never seen the host of any show sit in such an unprofessional manner.

Ahh just accept the girl crush and enjoy it!

I think the issue with a lot of folks on TWoP is that many of them are my age (baby boomers) who just can't wrap their minds around the fact they're no longer young and hip and the networks don't give a damn about them anymore.

Also I get the sense that many of them are not married, or if they are, aren't in the best situations and they have hatred for any woman that they determine is "unworthy." To them that means having less education than they either have or think they have.

They're going on and on about the new version of The Prisoner. Now, I HATED the original because I thought it well...sucked, but I don't mind this version. I think they hate this version because, it's not the "original" or it's not as smart and for some reason they can't stand Jim Caviezel, calling him wooden (obviously they never saw Deja Vu).

I get the sense they don't like Caviezel because he was in that Mel Gibson movie. I liked him because he said "no" to JLow but that's another story.

There was an episode where the boys get dressed up and go to a black-tie party and while there Jared Padalecki's character keeps getting groped and hit on by a drunk old lady. The Supernatural posters (who, in all fairness, I think are batshit-crazier even than the average at TWoP) were convinced that the old lady was a direct shot at them by the writers and producers, mocking them for daring to lust after Ackles and Padalecki and think that an older woman would have a shot with hot young guys. This devolved into a general "Why doesn't the CW cater to ME? I'm a faithful viewer! Why aren't people like ME the target demographic? I have a job and disposable income and all these little 18-22 year old snots probably don't even work!"

Now, everyone should watch what they want by all means, but I think watching the CW - which has been a blatantly teen-oriented network with teen-oriented shows at least since it was the WB, in the Dawson's Creek/Buffy days - and complaining that it caters to teens is like complaining that most of the Harry Potter promotions catered to kids. But then, I've never read or watched anything and then felt that my enjoyment of it somehow entitled me to have that book/show encompass and validate my own personal fantasies regarding its subject matter. That is what is just weird.

What can I say, I enjoy seeing the crazy Supernatural fans flail and gnash their teeth. It's like watching a trainwreck.

I'm not surprised at this. In that episode the old lady was really old, like 80, not 50. In fact there was an episode where Dean and Sam were in the library and a woman who looked between 45 and 50 walked by and Dean very obviously was checking her out. I'm 50 and I realize that most TV shows don't cater to me. Doesn't bother me at all, I'm watching for the fun, not for any deep fucking meaning.

Man. Seriously. There came a day awhile back when realized that I was too old to enjoy MTV. I kind of nodded my head knowingly and changed the channel.

Also, teenagers have a lot of disposable income. Unlike grown ups, they can spend it on movies and mp3s while our money goes towards car insurance and the medical copay...

That sitting thing with Kelly Ripa is funny. Like, really? I cant imagine caring about something like that enough to notice. And why Ripa? She seems so harmless.

Kelly Ripa has a successful career, good looks, a fun personality, beautiful children, and a seemingly solid marriage. She is not even close to harmless to the green eyed TWOP monsters. Purposely watching someone you can't stand just so you can rag on them is something I'll never be able to wrap my head around.

Some one called them out as being bitter ha! I can't figure why they watch .The Kelly hate does seem to rival the Kate Gosslin hate.

I can't link but the post made me laugh it said something like it's not snark but bitterness to hate on every thing Kelly does .
