While I appreciate the sensibility of her decision, it's the people that have not accomplished a single thing and yet are continuously shoved down our throats that need to go away - permanently. Betty White? She can stay.

I'm sure she has other reasons for stepping away from the spotlight a little bit, but I don't understand what was ever wrong with a talented performer choosing to continue to work while she was still able. She enjoyed it, and I'm sure it helped continue to give her life purpose. I'd hate for people to, like, tell my Grandpa, "Shit, man, could you maybe play golf a little less?" It gets him out of the house, it gives him something to look forward to, and I think it keeps him healthy. Same with Betty and her work. I'll miss seeing her, for one.

I'm going to need the Kardashians and their ilk to go away, not Betty White. I don't understand why people had such an issue with her being so popular last year. She has had a long and glorious career and she's earned that right.
