I donated to my local cat rescue and adoption agency where we got our kitties. They are so great and they've been receiving a ton of donations in Betty's honor. They emailed me personally to thank me for the donation and that it was honoring her and it made it all the sweeter. What a wonderful legacy to fulfill even after you're gone.

I did a birthday fundraiser this week on Facebook for a local rescue that I support. I actually hit the $200 goal. Several people donated in honor of Betty. Made me so happy. And that rescue sent a team to rescue a bunch of dogs from an auction today in Betty's name. It's so lovely that so many people are doing good things in her name.

I would love to know just how much money was donated today in memory of her—what an impact she had, even in her death.

Our local animal rescue had a goal of $17,000 and actually raised over $33,000.
