She's a Lady Gaga wannabe. Unfortunately, for her (and our ears) she lacks Gaga's singing and songwriting talents.

Word. I have listened to her CD and most of the songs sound really... young. Almost like really bad kiddie music, like something Mary Kate & Ashley used to do. Like, everything about her sound is really overprocessed and ends up sounding like SugarBeats only the lyrics are about getting drunk and being into shoes. Not impressed.

When I first heard Tik Tok, I thought it was one of those Kidz Bop(?) songs. She's a really bad knock-off of Lady Gaga, but I guess execs are trying to capitalize off Gaga's fame and fascination.

Yep, that about covers it. I hope "Tik Tok" is her first and last hit. It's okay, but if I don't have at least 2 drinks in me, then I feel embarrassed listening to it.

I like "Tik Tok" too. I don't think she's trying to be like Gaga.

I think I saw her described somewhere like a cross between Lady Gaga and a Beastie Boy who was raised on the Rock of Love bus.

She's already not a one-hit wonder, since "Blah Blah Blah" went number one on iTunes in several countries when the album was released and made the Hot 100's top ten just by selling so many downloads. Now it's racing up the airplay charts while "TiK ToK" is still huge. So she's this year's Katy Perry, at the very least.

I know she's hot now but I can't see her lasting. She just doesn't seem to have anything special about her. Her music is generic "Hey baby let's party!!1!" shit that ends up on dance compilations, and within a year people look at the name on the track listing and go "Wait, who was Ke$ha?" I think she will go the way of Willa Ford and Dream.
