That's where I sit on this, but she may actually win me over by working with the Dap-Kings.

ETA: I also really like the country song at the beginning of that video/song. I kinda hope it is somewhere else on her album.

I may not like everything she's done but Kesha is a very talented young woman and after the nightmare she's gone through, deserves all of the nice things.

Every time her thread is bumped I worry a little. I have an overprotective mom thing with her for some odd reason. All the blinds I've seen that say she's still got some bad addiction issues that she addresses and relapses on, and what she's been through... Plus a few of the live videos lately she's seemed messed up. I really hope she makes it through this part of her life intact and continues to persevere.

Dr. Luke Subpoenas Lady Gaga for Deposition in Kesha Defamation Case

Lady Gaga has publicly supported Kesha throughout her sexual assault case against Dr. Luke — including tweeting #FreeKesha — and is said to have exchanged text messages with the pop star.

“In connection with Dr. Luke’s defamation claims against Kesha, various third parties are being deposed by both sides, including celebrities,” his lawyer’s statement also confirmed.

It’s worth noting the usage of “celebrities” — plural — meaning other A-listers may find themselves on the stand.

Dr. Luke previously sued Kesha’s mother Pebe Sebert for defamation in 2014 and 2016, but dropped the suits in June.

It seems to me this suit is trying to assert that anyone who believes and supports a woman who says she has been abused can be sued. This is more about revenge and reclaiming power from the women Dr. Luke believes stole it from him. He's such a sick asshole.

This is so infuriating!!!
Imagine being forced to pay your abuser because you "defamed" their character. UGH.
However, I am not too familiar with the whole Katy Perry thing.
Apparently, Kesha "falsely told Lady Gaga that the producer had raped Katy Perry" (the quoted text is from the linked Billboard Magazine article).
What is the 411 on that?
