Kesha is suing producer Dr. Luke for allegedly sexually, verbally and physically abusing her.

Kesha was sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused for 10 years by her producer, Dr. Luke, to the point where she nearly died.

According to a new lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- Kesha claims Dr. Luke was abusive towards her almost from the get-go -- when she signed on with him at 18 -- and made repeated sexual advances toward her. She claims he would force her to use drugs and alcohol to remove her defenses.

In one instance, Kesha claims he forced her to snort something before getting on a plane … and during the trip he forced himself on her while she was drugged.

On another occasion, Kesha claims after forcing her to drink with him, Dr. Luke gave her what he called "sober pills." Kesha claims she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed, sore, sick … and with no memory of how she got there.

None of this is hard to believe. It's business as usual in the music industry. Good for her for speaking up, but I predict this suit will go nowhere and change nothing. Dr. Luke is a HUGE moneymaker. I doubt his career is going to end over this or anything else. He could be caught on film torturing puppies and still be first pick to write and produce Katy Perry's or any other pop star's new album. And they'd still have to work with him too....whether they like it or not. Such is the life of a music artist.

Unless Kesha were to happen to have a taped confession from Dr. Luke that was made in the state of California...

Dr. Luke is also accused to compelling his wife to get an abortion.

He's countersuing her, claiming extortion.

Dr. Luke is now suing Kesha saying she is lying just to get out of their contract together.

The 41-year-old producer’s lawyer alleges that Kesha is on “a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements,” TMZ reports.

Kesha is represented by Mark Geragos, who doesn't appear to be backing down. Not yet anyway.

According to Dr. Luke, Kesha is a lying liar who lies.

What's more interesting than Kesha declaring in the depo that she was not assaulted by Dr. Luke is the reason for asking the questions in the first place. Apparently Kesha's former managers believed back in 2011 that Dr. Luke had drugged and manipulated her.

“DAS was Ke$ha’s manager since the beginning of 2006, and there was a written agreement, and they worked closely, and sometime in September 2008 [producer] Dr. Luke, for his own personal gain, somehow induced her to breach that contract,” Freundlich said. “And she unceremoniously terminated DAS without justification and then ended up with Luke, basically. So we sued Ke$ha for breach of contract and Luke for interference

He also put in the legal docs a story that has circulated ... that Kesha insinuated her dad was Mick Jagger. He says she knows that's a lie but it never stopped her.

Does he not remember the lyrics to the song he wrote where Kesha declares that she will only hook up with dudes who look like Mick Jagger? She didn't pull that name out of thin air. Either she was being wacky or making a joke. How this precludes her from being a victim of sexual assault is beyond me. Regardless of how lame Dr. Luke's defense is, I see this case going nowhere fast for Kesha. All Dr. Luke has to do is bring up the crazy off the wall shit Kesha the public persona has said and done and call her a liar. Victim blaming will always be the go to defense in cases like this, and it almost always works.

I really want her to succeed, mostly because there's a chance it might stem the flood of vapid, "edgy" teen poplettes that are flooding the market right now. I think she's in the right and what happened to her is pretty common.

I didn't realize until I read the article how long it's been since she's put any music out.
