I thought the Snatch Game was truly inspired television. Have you seen all the extended scenes? Brilliant!

I loved Snatch Game. Pandora's Carol Channing was hilarious. And what's-her-name (Jasmine?) as Britney was great. She surprised me.

I gave up on Drag U after the first few eps. The grading was too weirdly inconsistent. I loved Ru's "COMMENCE DRAGULATION' robot machine. So what do we think of the new batch of ladyboys? I've never seen the first episode of S2 -- why does everyone hate Shangela so much? I think Raja will be in the Top 3, easily. I hope sexy sexy Henry Rollins returns as a judge. Of the finalists, I wanted Jujubee to win last season. Pandora's Absolut Ad? Is amazing. She's dressed like a giant Bloody Mary, complete with celery stick. Somewhere Gaga is weeping with envy. For anyone not yet into this show, Slate's BrowBeat Blog has a Should I watch Drag Race? quizzicle. (Yes. The answer is yes.)

Drag U did end up being kinda disappointing. I think it would have been better if we got to follow the ladies over more than one episode.
I wish I could see Pandora's Absolut ad. I usually get the commercials when I watch the show on Logo's site, but they haven't been working.
Raja is totally top three unless she completely biffs it somewhere along the line. I'm glad Venus De Lite is gone. I can't believe that poor soul had surgery to look more like Madonna. I hope he's at least making good money being a Madonna impersonator to make it all worth it.
I don't care for Phoenix, either. She's really not all that. The rest I like so far, or haven't really formed an impression yet.
I'm always amazed at the queens who look like typical semi-douchey guys out of drag (complete with the off-center trucker hat), then they transform into a queen who prances around in a g-string. I really haven't completely figured out where they tuck all their junk in order to wear their g-strings, and I'm not sure I want to.
ETA: Shangela -- I don't recall people hating her. I think the most controversial thing about her was that she had only been doing drag for, like, a few weeks before doing Drag Race. I think the other queens just weren't thrilled in general about someone from season two coming back.
ETA: I liked the outfit Mimi eventually put together, but what the hell was up with her breakdown? And really, at this point there is no excuse for going on this show with no sewing skills. you KNOW you are going to have to make a lot of your outfits (and especially being a big girl, you know that most off the rack clothes won't fit you). As soon as you are cast, you need to head down to Jo-Ann fabrics and take a crash course in sewing.

I taped all of Drag U with the intent of watching it all at once, but my son tried to record a marathon of Dirty Jobs in hi def and blew out everything I had taped on the DVR... Ah Technology, you lift me up just to knock me down.
I don't see what's so special about Shangela that she got a second chance... is there some shortage of drag queens that I am unaware of? If anyone should get a second chance, it should be Pandora, of course... Robbed!
I recognized Sutan the moment of his first close up (too many seasons of ANTM viewing) but I gotta say I'm not really impressed with Raja. When they show Raja in all her glory, I still just see a boy dressing up like a girl. Not pretty enough, makeup all jacked up, and not funny enough to pull that off. I think Sutan is benefitting unfairly from being a person with connections.. It's apparent Mike the photographer knew him personally, and he totally pimped Adam Lambert in his audition tape. Since he does makeup for celebrities and has a sense of fashion, I'm thinking he'll go far based on that alone.
PS - Kinda sad they didn't pick the hairy guy to be one of the pit crew. Or rather, couldn't they find one really good looking bearded hairy chested guy? It's time for chest hair to become fashionable again. (Maybe that's why they keep picking British Guys to play American superheros... there's no body hair left on this side of the Atlantic.)

Do they rotate the Pit Crew? Because there was a total hunk with a beard and some body hair on last night's episode.
I can take you to any bear bar in Silverlake to assure you that there's no body hair shortage here. I just think the show has a more WeHo-sensibility.
I fully thought that the picture of Charo on a recent Frontiers magazine was Pandora as Carol Channing. The week before the Drag U premiere, there was an all-drag episode of Logo's "One Night Stand Up!" that she was hostess/MC for. She was, as usual, awesome and funny.
The look of disappointment on Mimi's face when she didn't win but came in second was DELICIOUS. I thought her "acting" sucked donkey dick anyway -- there's camp and there's just ridiculous. Also, her runway outfit was a bad knockoff of Bou George's Taboo get-up. Plus, that bullshit in the dressing room about how "oh, I think so-and-so is just threatened by me." - Saying it don't make it true, girl.
I'm glad Phoenix left and one of the other girls called her out on just copying the Bad Romance choreography during the LipSync.
ETA: I'm watching the first episode of Untucked and there was the DRAMA of one of the other girls asking Stacey if she wanted to be a transsexual since she looks like a woman out of drag!

I think the two pit crew members are new this season. I remember the bearded guy gleefully throwing snow at the queens during their photoshoot.
I agree that Mimi is annoying as hell. I can't quite figure out what her problem is. Phoenix just sucked. Completely justified elimination.
So far I'm liking Alexis, Yara Sofia, Manilla and Raja. I go back and forth on Mariah. I don't think Shangela is the best, but I can't help liking her.
Overall this is a much stronger than last season. There were some serious hot messes in that group.
