You're not - except I don't have Logo. I'm hoping it shows up online very soon.
I loved season one - Nina Flowers was my favorite, but I was okay with Bebe winning.
And I LOVE that the lighting on RuPaul when he's in drag is so soft and gauzy that it looks like there is two inches of Vaseline on the lens.

Am I the only one who got that damn "Covergirl" song in my head? Mission accomplished, RuPaul. I love how it's like RuPaul has just descended on a cloud from heaven. I mean hell, if it was my show I'd light myself like that too. But Ru really doesn't need it - it's kind of obscene how good he looks both in and out of drag. Especially because, according to Wikipedia, he's going to be fifty this year. Holy crap. He's a hotter woman at 50 than I am at 27!!! And I'm with you on Nina vs. Bebe. Part of my issue is that while I liked Bebe overall, I wasn't crazy about the dress she chose for the finale. But I was more than OK with her winning. |

Nope, you're not the only one. And that's one of my favorite "after the credits" bits from season one with Nina/Jorge backstage working on her next outfit and bopping around and singing the song, clearly stuck in her head.
Yeah, Bebe was good and clearly one of RuPaul's favorites right from the beginning (if only so he could bellow "Camerooooooooon!" at every opportunity). But I just loved Nina's look - it was more punk and androgynous than "classic" drag, but I couldn't take my eyes off her (in a good way). Plus she just seemed like such a nice person (both in and out of drag).
I'll have to check out the new episode tonight to see if any of the new girls compare.

Loved it! I've seen every episode at least three times. Can't wait for the new season. Hope they get a bit of a bigger budget. The sets were a bit makeshift. I adored Nina Flowers. She was gorgeous!!

I think everyone loves Nina Flowers. She was my favorite and while I was ok with Bebe winning, Nina was the one I was rooting for.
Last season there seemed to be more variety, a lot of the girls seem to do the same type of drag and have the same type of look. I have to say that Tyra and Tatiana are the prettiest.
"Covergirl" gets stuck in my head all the time. Every time I put on makeup I have to sing out "Face! Face! Face! I give Face! Beauty Face!"
