Latrice looked great. I'm guessing Willam got the edge because she did a bit of a performance.
Kelly was adorable. Heck, I'd kinda love it if she took over as Ru's sidekick if Michelle ever leaves. And I can't believe that Pauley Perrette is 43! She looks like she's still in her late 20s.
I agree about Phi Phi - she's so negative about everything, and it holds her back.
I don't know if it was the makeup or the lighting, but Jiggly looked like she's got that dark skin under her arms that may be a symptom of diabetes and it distracted me. Get your sugar checked, Jiggly!

Kelly Osborne was a riot. I was like "really?" when I saw the previews of her backstage in the lounge, but I ended up loving her little session with the queens. As much as I enjoy the catfights, it was nice to have a segment that was slightly different.
And speaking of Untucked, it cracks me up that they are still replaying Lashauwn Beyond's "THIS IS NOT RUPAUL'S BEST FRIEND RACE" rant at the slightest opportunity.

What was up with Milan whispering in Jiggly's ear as she was saying goodbye? That's a set up for a head game that won't end well. I mean, honestly? Jiggly is just sort of there. She could have gone home at any point leading up to now and I don't think anyone would have cared. I don't see that changing anytime soon, either.

Some people on TWOP said Kelly got a lot of backlash a few months ago for saying some pretty awful things about a transgendered girl who her ex-fiance cheated with. I looked it up and Kelly did apologize for using the "tranny" word. But the worst part was her saying how humiliating it was to be cheated on with a "chick with a dick" and that's worse than being cheated on with an ugly girl. So even though I thought she was pretty charming on RDR, I have to give her the side-eye. I remember not too long ago, she had a habit of using the word "gay" as in "that's so gay". I didn't like Sharon at the beginning, because I was creeped out by her look and her first runway with the blood. But she's really grown on me, as both a queen and a person. I just don't think I get Willam. Some things she says are funny, but I can't tell what's real and what's an act with her. The name dropping and label-whoring are not appealing to me. I really don't see what's so special about wearing a designer label. Most working queens don't have that kind of money, so they make their own costumes. And what was up with Kenya's letter? How is she gon' try to read everybody AFTER she leaves the competition? Trick, you the one that got eliminated.

Yeah, I was a little apprehensive about Kelly being a judge this episode. She can be pretty immature and judgmental, and her defensive flame out over the "tranny" fallout was pretty obnoxious. Girl, your foot does not belong in your mouth.
Kenya's letter was awkward and unnecessary. But then, she always seemed a little off to me, language issues aside. And not a talented drag queen at all. She had no clue about pop culture, she couldn't act, her drag made her look like a kid in a beauty pageant.
And um, good luck being friends with some of those people after that. You're going to be having some fun at the reunion for sure.

I think this contest favors "queens of means" - contestants who have more money and therefore more opportunity to show up with better outfits, wigs & shoes.
They are using their own clothes, right? Maybe Latrice wore those boots that Ru was hating because those were the best she had, or the only shoes she had that fit closest to the theme. Whereas Willam and Chad seem to have brought a vast selection of expensive and tailored accoutrements that might be needed for more varied challenges.
I don't think it's a fair fight unless everyone starts with the same basic stuff.

I think the best show ever would be a road trip across America with Russell and Pam (from True Blood) and Sharon Needles and Latrice Royale. Vampires and drag queens, the very definition of "fierce".

I think this contest favors "queens of means" - contestants who have more money and therefore more opportunity to show up with better outfits, wigs & shoes. I don't know about that. Bebe didn't seem particularly affluent (I could be wrong) and Tyra was couch surfing/dirt poor at the time the she won. Some of the top contestants have mentioned that they were pretty poor at the time of filming. Raja definitely was financially stable, though I got the feeling that last year's top contestants were more well off than in previous years. Bottom line though, drag involves spending money to look good. Latrice can afford kick-ass dresses and makeup, so she should be able to afford some shoes. I suspect they were calling her out on over relying on them. With her frame, heels are tough. Maybe she finds them more comfortable, and that is why she overuses them.

Tyra may have been dirt poor but somebody had provided those gorgeous gowns for her. I believe I heard it was her drag mother/drag house. She did hold her own when she had to make her own costumes, but she brought a whole of stuff with her. On one hand, it doesn't seem fair, but OTOH, I also want to see the queens really bring it, so I don't know what the best solution would be.

Oh, that makes sense. Tyra was so boring that I forgot much about her on the show.
I think part of the issue might also be that RuPaul tends to favor drag queens working in the "fit," "fishy," and "pageantry" arena of drag, or high fashion, like Raja. I can't imagine someone from the Divine-style of drag doing well on this show. Which is a shame, because that kind of drag is also popular and fun.
