Whew! I have not watched the finale, but decided to spoil myself over on ONTD because I was sort of over this season and its drama. But I am glad I did, and I will watch the show tomorrow when it's up on Logo.
And it will be nice to watch the other queens rip on Phi Phi. Break on through to the other side girl, we'll like you better.

I have to say that doing the reunion in front of a live audience (and having all the contestants do an opening number like a beauty pageant) is a lot more fun than just Ru and the contestants in an empty sound stage. At first I was surprised when Ru did the show in drag when she usually doesn't, but she wanted to make a grand entrance (and that she did). I kinda love Willam. Her disqualification reason was predictably kinda lame (she was getting "conjugal visits" from her hubby when they are supposed to be sequestered), but she was on point - looked great, tore Phi Phi a new one, coined the term "RuPaulogize" (which Ru loved and was all, "Bitch, I am stealing that!"), and released her new single today (video is NSFW b/c of language and the fact that it's bulge city). Phi Phi is shady as hell, and it's pretty clear that there is no love lost between her and the other contestants. If anyone said anything nice about her, it was edited out. And I can't believe that she hung out with Jiggly, and then Jiggly saw the show and was all "WTF?!" when she saw how Phi Phi plotted to get rid of her. Jiggly looked good, though - like she's lost some weight. And seeing the three finalists up there, it was so clear that Phi Phi just wasn't in the same league as Chad and Sharon. Those two looked great up there. Phi Phi looked like...a tired-ass show girl. One who doesn't know how to sit like a lady. And of course Ms. "I Don't Wear Blonde" was wearing a blonde wig. I'm sad that Chad didn't win and didn't get Miss Congeniality (though the winners of both were deserving), but I'm sure the show has really raised her profile and she's probably able to book a lot more gigs. Or at least charge more.

Willam's new song is cracking me up because my daughter loves that Selena Gomez song "Love You Like a Love Song". I can't play this for her, though. (She's only 8.)

I think Chad would have been the winner if it hadn't been for the public opinion vote. I'm kind of in agreement with Tom & Lorenzo about the reveal of the winner - it kind of loses it's punch when you know that Ru had them all tape their reactions to winning. It would have felt a lot more genuine if the three queens thought they actually won or didn't win. I'd rather get fierce reality show realness here.

I agree that it loses the emotional impact when you know that it's basically "Take Two" and everyone is acting. They could have taped most of the reunion special and then cut to a live feed at the reunion party in NYC where the winner is revealed. Maybe Logo doesn't have the funds for something like that, but how hard/expensive can it be?
And I wish that the show was longer. It was clear that they had to cut a lot and they didn't really get into a lot of stuff or let people talk for very long.
On the plus side, either someone else did her makeup or Latrice picked up a few tips, because she looked great.

I agree. Knowing that, at the time, Sharon didn't know if she actually won or not made the ending feel outright weird. I think filming the three endings was ridiculous. I realize they may want to have the reunion part edited for time, but why couldn't they do the last few minutes live? Or better yet, do the last runway and judging panel from last week live?
Also, there was not near enough drama and bitching for a reunion show. I would have liked to have heard a LOT more readings on PhiPhi.

I would have been happy with a two hour finale... one hour of backstage bitchiness and another hour of reunion.
Strangely enough, I was fine with a one hour Biggest Loser finale this season. Could be because they were the biggest bunch of unlikable assholes Ever.

The editors of this show must have their hands full. There's so much material that they have to use Untucked to show stuff and have more bitching.
The good news is that for the first time, they're including Untucked on the DVD set.
But, yeah, I wanna see readings on Phi Phi. And I would LOVE to see the take/ending where Phi Phi won to see the crowd and the other queens reactions. EW (I think?) has an account from the taping and how it played out. They could have had a two hour finale, easily.

Okay, who is good at identifying silhouettes? It's the first teaser for the all-star cast. The only one I could identify was Latrice, but that's pretty easy. I can't identify the rest, and I'm nervous that one of them looks like Phi Phi.
