I'm really liking Shangela after the last couple of Untuckeds. I like that she seems very supportive of Stacy Layne. And Manila is just cracking my shit up. Raja is starting to sound like a real drag snob- she is starting to remind me of how Tatiana was all about looking pretty and "bringing realness" instead of being an entertainer. Raja honey, I know you make a better looking woman than I do, but if you aren't going to do something you're like the Jennifer Aniston of drag. I've known a few drag queens, and the best ones are not necessarily the prettiest ones.

I think, personality wise, Shangela is my favorite by far.
I adored Manilla's pineappple dress but did think she went a bit over-the-line with the stereotyping.
Mariah & Carmen Carrerra are gorgeous but are kinda bland, performance-wise.
ETA: Logo just tweeted that Shangela has a role on tonight's Detroit 1-8-7. Go her for getting good work.

I don't like Shangela anymore. She loves to start shit. Just in the last episode, she tried to goad Raja into an argument about pageants.
S: So Raja, would you ever consider doing a pageant?
R: No, never.
S: Why? What are you saying, that pageant girls can't be artistic??!! That pageant girls have no talent??!!
That's totally paraphrased, but that's the gist I got from it. She was trying to start shit. And the same with telling Manilla she was "offended" by her interview. Bitch, seriously? You're a drag queen and you're trying to get politically correct? And don't forget the episode before last where she kept trying to get Mariah to say she had no choice but to get stuck with Mimi, that Mimi wasn't "picked". What was the point of all that, other than just being a flat-out bitch?
I thought she had a great personality and sense of humor at first, but now I think she just sucks hard-core. And she needs to do something about her constant five o' clock shadow.

So far I've completely agreed with the eliminations. I guess next should either be Stacey if she can't step up her game, or Mariah/Carmen for being bland.
I go back and forth on Shangela. Sometimes I think she's great, other times she needs to stop stirring the pot or freaking out about stuff that really isn't for her to worry about. I can't hate on her because I half suspect that she's been told to start shit by the producers. Just like during Untucked they always have two queens step into the other room so they can talk smack about the others.
But overall I really don't have a huge problem with anyone this season. Even those who can be shit-stirrers or seem too snobby have redeeming qualities. No one is flat-out vile or unpleasant now that MiMi is gone.
But what was the bug up Delta's butt about Yara Sofia in this last episode? Yes, she pulled out the Spanglish trick twice in a row now, but A. many, many drag queens have a schtick, and B. the judges clearly like it, so she's just giving them what they want. You may not like it personally, but you can't blame her for doing it.

No one is flat-out vile or unpleasant now that MiMi is gone. That reminds me of Raven. No one has been as vile or as unpleasant as that bitch. She was just rotten to the core. Sometimes bitchiness can be fun to watch and I admit the show would be boring if no one ever got bitchy and catty, but she was just bitter and mean-to the point that it overrode any redeeming qualities she may have had. So yeah, compared to her, this group is a dream.

I'm glad they are still whittling down the lesser queens.
Still not in love with Stacy, and I still see a girl when I look at him not in drag.
But I loves Manilla, mostly because she's willing to go overboard for a laugh. Ru sounded mighty put-out at having to claim her the winner, though.

Yeah, I suspect that Shangela is Ru's current pet, so I wouldn't be surprised if she won.
I'm half surprised that they didn't blur Stacey's nip slip. I know it was man-boob, but it really looked like lady-boob!

I'm not convinced Stacey is not a biological woman. Think about it, she could easily just be trying to win 75K by claiming she's a man. I'm only kidding, but I do wonder if they have to prove somehow that they are not taking any kind of hormones, because this comp seems to be strictly off-limits to the transgendered.

It makes no sense to me that they didn't blur out Stacy's boob, seeing as how his breast was just as feminine-ish as any woman. There's some weird double standard going one here...

Manila is my favorite this season--she looks great and has sass and personality w/o being nasty.
I think Carmen should be the next to go--I don't see much peronality at all there, and this past week she was back to just being naked. I think she is the most limited out of those who remain.
