I saw Parasite last night and would like to hear everyone's opinion after they have seen it this October.

I saw Parasite last night and would like to hear everyone's opinion after they have seen it this October. Ack!! Did you post that just to taunt us? It's going to be a long wait to see it in a theater. I read that it is out there online, but the subtitles are iffy. Sigh. I'll just have to be good and wait. ETA: This looks nice and creepy. Antlers. Del Toro is back to his "horror based around kids" roots.

I watched that preview twice, and still couldn't figure it out who was playing Megyn until I read an article about her transformation. ETA: Wow. This looks terrible. It gave me Tropic Thunder vibes. And from the comments, it's been in development hell for almost a decade? Yikes.

Did they give Charlize a chin implant prosthetic? Her face looks completely different. The Report looks good.

An Indian Jason Bourne? I'll try it-- Bard of Blood. ETA: A spinoff of HER, with a sick twist? I wouldn't see it at the theater, but I'd watch it on streaming-- JEXI. NSFW lingo.

I love unconventional movies, and I really enjoy Korean cinema, so this has my name all over it-- Parasite. I LOVE Korean horror films. Parasite is coming to the Toronto Film Festival in 2 weeks. This guy also did the Host and Snowpiercer.

It's going to be a tv series soon, and I'm really interested on how that will play out. Is it a prequel? A sequel? A parallel story to the movie? Will best Chris make a cameo?

I'll let you know. I saw Train to Busan at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival a few years ago, we are spoiled rotten here for movies and festivals year round. I highly recommend The Host, it's really scary and gory, but there's a huge family element that's very moving, as with a lot of Korean films. Also recommend Pandora, about a nuclear power plant accident, with the same strong family element.

Chicago gets FF, but it's hardly ever for movies that people really want to see. lol The Host and Train to Busan are on my must watch list. Mother was too, but I accidentally got spoiled about the ending for it, but I still might just watch it just because the reviews are so good.
