I saw the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in an IMAX theater, and it was delightful.
I've avoided all nerd speculation and media and had only seen the very short earlier trailer. All the major players showed up, including footage with Carrie Fisher and iconic visuals from the original trilogy.
The Rey stuff was awesome!

Everyone was talking about Charlize in the teaser (and she still looks and sounds phenomenal), but good lord! John Lithgow is completely unrecognizable. I only knew it was him because of the voice. The makeup people deserve an Oscar. Bombshell trailer. |

Went to see Terminator tonight and one of the trailers was Top Gun: Maverick. Kind of a surreal experience. Not out until summer 2020 and of course I'll be seeing it. lol

I’m usually bah humbuggy until Dec 24th and I was not going go and see this at all I didn’t read up on it look at the trailer or anything because I thought some random was being all Christmas and Wham! nostalgia baity. Emma Thompson wrote it and is in it and it has new George Michael song along with more of his music. So if my heart can take it I’ll be sobbing in a cinema at a Christmas Film way before Dec24th. Last Christmas trailer. |
