I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the two (now three) movies being discussed upthread.
In lighter news, I've started seeing posters everywhere for Honey 2. The existence of which I find utterly baffling. How in hell is there a market for Honey to get a sequel?

Honey 2? The horror.
While I would not say it is the worst movie ever, I'm slogging through a rewatch of Saving Private Ryan right now, a film which has always offended me not for its badness, but for its mediocrity. The writing just isn't that great, the "moving" parts are an odd mixture of cliche and boring and Tom Hanks' scenery chewing gets old after about five minutes.

I read a brief article in EW about Human Centipede this morning. Until then, I had avoided the topic. I was on the elyptical at the Y and seriously got sick to my stomach. Nauseous and had to stop pedaling. What sick fuck would THINK of such a movie premise???

If you're the kind of person who thought "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" wimped out on the sex and violence, if you're the kind of person who enjoys over the top 3D trashy effects on your television screen, if you're the sort of person who can't ask for the salt and pepper to be passed without using the word "fuck", if you're the sort of person who thinks "what I really want to see in a movie is Nic Cage boning a skank while simultaneously slaughtering evil henchmen and swigging from a bottle of Jack and orgasming after getting hit with a cattle prod", if you're the sort of person who likes all that PLUS the fact that Cage has escaped from Hell and is trying to save his granddaughter from satanic cultists while simultaneously avoiding a deeply-creepy character called The Accountant...
Well, "Drive Angry" was made for you.
On the upside? Bill Fichtner as The Accountant is cooler than a Tarantino hero.

Nauseous and had to stop pedaling. What sick fuck would THINK of such a movie premise??? I knew very little about this movie and then I made the mistake of reading the storyline. Eeewwww....eww, ewww, why would anyone want to watch a movie like this? Worse, yeah, what kind of person would think of a movie like this? There are some serious sick fucks out there.

I KNOW. Our teenage babysitter who I am in church choir with was talking about it on facebook. I posted on her wall that I had read about the movie and wished that I could un-read things. Another choir member saw the post, Googled Human Centipede and was like, oh GOD. And then it kept spreading, more church choir members kept seeing the discussion and kept looking it up out of curiosity. These people are the sweetest, kindest religious folk and I felt like their innocence had been taken away!
