I just watched Girls Just Wanna Have Fun this afternoon. Freaking awesome. Man, I hear you! What makes it even better is the cast - Shannen Doherty, Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt - all still around today! It's a classic.

Due to these boards, I watched April Fools Day last night. Man, it was everything I wanted and more.
Oops, I don't know if that is campy, so much as cheesy.

I can't believe I am going to mention this but Reform School Girls was one of my favorite films in the 80's.
I'll show myself out.

Michael Rooker and Nathan Fillion know how to milk the camp, and did so masterfully in Slither. Gooey, icky, gory fun.

I kneel at the alter of Valley of the Dolls. That scene where Neeley's getting her big break... She's singing to beat the band and right in the middle of it the double-stranded beads swing a certain way so that a strand falls perfectly around each breast... My sister and I once were on our way out the door but we actually waited so that we could see that scene.
And Tremors. That one's not so much fun to mock, because I always get the idea that the actors were defnitely in on the joke.

Anaconda is the best giant snake movie EVER. It has J Lo before she was J Lo! Owen Wilson gets EATEN (yay!)! Eric Stoltz despairs at the script so much that he tries to swim his way out of the movie! I need to watch it again.

Wow, you described that scene perfectly! I now feel the need to track down this dvd (it is out on dvd, isn't it?) and make it my own. As to another favorite, nothing beats the goodness of Val Kilmer in "Real Genius."

Oh, my god. Grease 2. Yep. I still want a cool rider.
That's right. A C-O-O-L. An R-I-D-E-R.

Sleepaway Camp. The badass 80s campers, the short shorts, the homoeroticism, the still-shocking surprise ending.

And Tremors. That one's not so much fun to mock, because I always get the idea that the actors were defnitely in on the joke. I so agree about Tremors! What a great, funny little movie. I love Reba and Michael Gross from Family Ties. They are hilarious! I think this is my favorite Kevin Bacon film and he's been in some good ones. We will always watch this when it's on, and I'd love to own it. I also have to agree with Clash of the Titans. I love this movie. The special effects are awful and clunky, but it's awesome! And I must nominate Spice World. I've seen this at least 100 times (it's my 5 year olds favorite movie) and it's just sooo campy and cheesy and fun! No one in the entire film takes themselves seriously!
