I'm really really excited to see this one. I haven't been to a movie in, I dunno, probably a year.

I am going to try and go see this one Friday with a decent sized crowd. I too loved Memento, but unlike some I really liked the Prestige as well. I just hope it is different and I think I will like it.

I feel kind of obliged to see this film because of the critical and popular hype ... which makes me not want to see it. I hated Memento, I was at best mildly entertained by The Matrix, and this is full to the brim of shiny, pretty, critic-bait young actors that I can't help but be aware of how carefully crafted the whole thing is.

I am such a spoiler whore, and it's taking every ounce of strength I have not to wander over to IMDb and ruin it for myself. I probably already know more than I should from reading some of the reviews. Normally I don't go for this type of movie, but I like the cast and, as Peter Travers said, "it's a smart movie in the dumbest summer ever."

It's creeping towards the 100s in Chicago. At this point, I'd go just to cool off for a few hours. I haven't seen a movie in the theater since Star Trek. I'm extremely picky with whom I give my dollars to. And since I loved DK, and Nolan has a decent track record, I plan to see this if not this week, then next week. This is something I want to experience on the big screen. I'll have to go to a very early matinee. I hate crowds of rude, ignorant people.

I haven't seen a movie since Star Trek either, movies are expensive, even though my neighborhood theater isn't as expensive as the rest of Manhattan. I'd like to see it on the Big Screen, maybe Sunday morning before the loud folk come. I also for some reason think Cillian Murphy is all kinds of hot.

Must be going around, I haven't seen a movie in the theater since Star Trek either, but this one I want to see this weekend. At the 9:25 am matinee.

I saw a matinee today ($7.50...80s prices!). You guys gotta see it so I can figure out what the hell happened. I think I saw Memento like three times, and I'm guessing I need to see this one about one more. Offhand though, I liked it: the casting was awesome, and the effects were great.

It's the lips. Those juicy, juicy lips! I've loved him since 28 Days Later. I thought I was the only snob* on the board. Thanks Neurochick and Smitten for making me better/less like a loser. *Snob in this case meaning really selective. I can't give money to something I know that I will forget about in a few days. If I'm going to go to the theater, deal with possible crying babies, phone talkers, and extravagant ticket prices, it had better be worth it. And nothing in the past year had been worth it. Except maybe Book of Eli and Kick Ass.

I saw it at my "artsy" theater and there was not a phone ring for the 2.5 hours. It was heavenly.
