I'd be slightly interested in a Weird Science remake if they flipped some gender things around.

Ben Affleck re-teaming with David Fincher and Gillian Flynn for a 'Strangers on a Train' remake: Ben's playing an actor who's going to bump off his wife for the AMPAS sympathy votes? I guess it's too far gone to trot out the wife and kids for photo ops at the farmers' market? At least they are putting a new twist on it instead of another shot-for-shot remake like Psycho. No.

I was reading the IMDb entry for the director/choreographer Kenny Ortega and it list one of his upcoming projects as a remake of Dirty Dancing, to be set in Peru. With a dancing alpaca farmer. I had to check to see if this was an April's Fools joke. (Ortega choreographed the original, BTW.)

Didn't they already (try to) remake Dirty Dancing?

Yeah, and it was set in Cuba. I don't know if it had a dancing tobacco farmer, though.

Can alpacas be trained to go through some dance moves, and do they enjoy it? I would be interested in an all alpaca version of Dirty Dancing. Or, well, any movie really.
