They are pretty much desperate for Britney to reach out to them and be their new best friend. This was another interesting and maybe scary aspect of the book. In most celebrity/fan parasocial relationships, it's all one-sided on the fan's part. However, Britney was very aware of the Free Britney movement and claims that helped influence her decision to fight back against the conservatorship. She thanks these fans directly in the book. So she is participating in the parasocial relationship as well, very aware and attuned to what fans and non-fan-observers are saying about her. I could definitely see her having direct contact with some of these people. She is a person desperate for love and her entire life she's been trying to gain approval. Is she desperate for love, or is she desperate for validation and enabling? Love means sometimes being told what you don't want to hear. Seems like she cuts people off for doing that.

I doubt it. If her father wasn't the big baddie of her life, she wouldn't know what to do.. Although she did reconnect with her mother on her birthdayIt will be interesting to see how long that lasts.

I feel like this is a "his truth, her truth, the truth" situation, but in his shoes I'd have picked a different song, and maybe retire that one for a while.

I can see it both ways: for a Vegas show, the audience wants to hear the hits. If fact, it's the only song I like of Justin's (the stellar production and Justin's vocal delivery are so good!). However, doing it sooooo close to the release of Britney's memoir looks very petty.

Honestly, he's stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either way people are going to complain or comment. And either way, Britney was going to make some comment and send her crazy fans after him.
I know he's a PAB but I still feel kind of sorry for him. Britney is clearly still obsessed with him and she's going to make his life miserable every chance she gets. And people are going to take every crazy story she tells as the absolute truth. There is literally nothing he can say or do to defend himself.
She's like some sort of zombie ex-girlfriend that pops up to make his life miserable.

Was it even confirmed that Britany cheated on him?

Was it even confirmed that Britany cheated on him? She admitted that she cheated in her book. But it was totally fair because according to her, Justin cheated first. And that's entirely possible, though I don't think he's ever admitted it. But in typical Brit form, she seems to have shaded the whole story to make herself look better. In her version, the cheating consisted of one kiss. But the story that's been out there for a while is that, while she was onstage during an SNL appearance Justin found a 14-page letter that she had written to Wade Robson (one of his friends btw) ending a several months long affair. Supposedly they fought in SNL dressing room and broke up not long after. Cry Me a River makes a lot more sense with the latter story.
