Yeah, Casey is a bit of a redneck, but so are most members of the Spears clan. I think Britney would be much happier if she were able to live a simple redneck life.
I hate to say bad things about kids but Maddie is not the cutest child. Maybe she'll grow into her looks, though.

Britney could move back to Louisiana in a heartbeat but she probably doesn't want to. Her pap buddies probably wouldn't follow her and there aren't as many luxury stores to stumble through. Heck, she could live a country life in California, move out to a ranch or hang out at a country bar in Bakersfield. But she ain't gonna. What's the length of the frap/Kitson/hair extension stroll in Bakersfield? A quarter mile, tops. Our girl needs at least 3 solid miles of mindlessness so she can get her slackjaw on.
Re. Maddie, I've seen fugly babies grow up into stunners and cute babies grow up into bridge trolls. A preschooler's face isn't a good predictor of what's to come.

Maddie's not that bad. As for Casey being a redneck/hillbilly, I think Jamie Lynn is, too, so it's a good fit. I mean that in the sense that she never seemed particularly classy/elegant, although she's always seemed somewhat smart and streetwise, at least. I figure she's ended up where she ultimately wants to be.
Britney probably would have been better off with this kind of life, too, but I think she's been ruined for it now by the excessive fame. I don't think she could go back to this kind of life now. Sad, really.

Yeah, Britney's not a redneck/hillbilly; she's her own unique brand of a mess. I mean, I'm from the South and know a ton of people who have ended up with lives somewhat like JL's. Tailgating, trips to the beach every summer, hunting ... it's all just a pretty normal life, and one that Britney seems so far removed from at this point.

Britney could move back to Louisiana in a heartbeat but she probably doesn't want to. Britney cannot move back to Louisiana unless she wants to abandon her children given the custody agreement. |

Yeah, it's not like she can fly them (or herself) back and forth from LA to CA.
How much time does she spend with those boys anyway? Is the custody arrangement now 50/50?
Re: Jamie Lynn, she looks happy enough. As long as she doesn't come back to Hollywood or try to foist her talentless offspring onto the world, I have no problems with her. I think Maddie is very cute! She looks more like Casey, lucky girl.

Most of Britney's fans are tools. It's beyond obvious that Jamie Lynn is happy, gloriously so. She was miserable in L.A. and you could see it. She's loving her life right now and it shows. Britney is still miserable and it shows. That kind of life is what Britney should have had; she was never more than the going to football games sorta girl.

Kevin may be many things but I think if Britney was serious about moving to Louisiana and getting her mind right, he would consent to the boys living in Louisiana. It's only because she's obvious some fries short of a Happy Meal that the boys will stay in California. Kevin is from California. Shar Jackson and his fist two children are living in LA. Kevin's main source of income is child support payments. Kevin is not going to give up his custody rights and his main source of income and have his children move a couple of thousand miles away or move himself away from California. His ties to California are very deep. Britney has lived close to a third of her life in California. She too has deep ties now to the area, the most important of which are her children. Moving away is not as simple as some of you seem to assume. |

I doubt he'd let Britney take the boys back to Louisiana to live. Not just from an income standpoint, but I really don't believe he'd want to be a long-distance parent. Britney was recently accused of child abuse by the same bodyguard who said she sexually harassed him. Team Britney said there was no way she could abuse her sons, because she always has nannies and handlers around her. Translation: she is not allowed to be alone with her boys, because it's just too dangerous. So no, she does not have custody, just visitation. |
