Was she always this insufferable or is this a more recent (post-pregnancy/baby) thing?

I feel very sorry for Bridget Moynihan.

I never read any quote from her before she hooked up with Tom Brady, so I have no idea if she's always been like this or not. I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt with the first stupid quote I read because of the language issue but now? She has shown her true colors and they are judgmental beeyotch. She'd be right at home with the commenters over at Celebrity Baby Blog.

ETA: Wandered over to the Tom Brady thread and saw the idiocy.
I wouldn't have a problem if she said that America could do a better job providing support to women to help them breastfeed for six months or however long: better maternity leave options, educating doctors, greater midwife availability, and more lactation consultant support. And the marketing of formula is really problematic. But a law? Shut up, lady.

bunny, she gave us mere mortals this nugget of brilliance:
It's the part about her seriously stating that there should be a law that has most people upset. Because yeah, women worldwide need more strangers telling us what we can and can't do with our bodies.

I always thought she was a jackass (not to mention unattractive) so I feel very vindicated right now.

I really didn't have much of an opinion on her either way but now? Total smug bitch.

I work at a government health agency and breastfeeding for at least six months is one of those goals that is being pushed through policy-wise. She's not far off the mark in that it is recommended for healthier babies and mothers, etc., she just didn't state it very well. I wouldn't throw stones at her for this. I'm actually more shocked that public opinion on breastfeeding is so poor, like, hey people, this is what our boobs are for, not for your sexual pleasure alone!

I like how the very first reason behind is "I think breastfeeding really helped me keep my figure". Oh, I see. I'm sure on some level she is just being flippant and full of hyperbole.... she's probably pretty dramatic in life. I can easily see her being one of those that make a mountain-out-of-a-mole-hill, types but she really needs to stop. She's touching on some serious issues and issues where many woman (unfortunately) feel like they are failing on some level... motherhood/breastfeeding/patience/exhaustion. It's heady and hard and can be exhausting at times and most woman don't appreciate being told by a woman that makes millions for looking pretty, had a baby what like 4-months ago, what they should be doing with their bodies. She irks me now...
