I have three separate airings of the premiere set to record, just in case we get interrupted by a power outage or rained-out satellite dish.

I tried to watch the after show. It......wasn't very good. Whoever the host was, he was visibly nervous. And it cemented in my mind that Kurt Sutter will never allow Gemma to have any consequences.

Marilyn Manson was looking quite doughy. It was kind of hilarious trying to picture him as third in command of the Aryan nation. Just bad stunt casting. We're in the final season guys, we don't need shitty stunt actors wasting time. Except from the previews it looks like that's all we'll be getting.......so yay.

Kind of a meh opening for me. I was disappointed to see that no one had even the slightest suspicion about Tara's murder. How she was murdered was quite personal and intimate. A random gang member isn't going to do that. They would have just shot Tara and booked it. Jax torturing that poor random Chinese guy was so awful and so sad. I know I was probably supposed to think how badass Jax was when he was (literally...) rubbing salt in that guys wounds but it just kind of made me feel sorry for the actors. And when Bobby dragged that guy in the wheelchair behind his motorcycle, I was probably supposed to be cheering, but I just felt sad for everyone involved in this mess. I don't know how they can do some of these scenes and not die a little inside.

So I guess Nero breaking up with Gemma lasted about 45 seconds. What was the point of that again? It's good to know Gemma can still bamboozle the club into doing her will, I guess it helps that every last club member has the IQ of a box turtle. Are none of the club members concerned that Jax basically got out of jail and admitted every decision he ever made was bad and wrong but this time guys, this time I got it! How are you people still loyal to him? I mean those were some massive fuck ups. Clay didn't even fuck up that hugely and the club put a bullet in his neck. Clay's corpse could be running this club better.

If Juice kills Unser I will be Team Juice forever. Juice you can do it! Just put a bullet in his head! You could even dump his body in front of the ice cream parlor! No one will notice or care because Unser is utterly irrelevant to everyone. I might forgive this show everything is Unser dies and no one cares.

Honestly the only character that keeps me watching at this point is Nero. Jimmy Smits has got to be one of the only men on the planet who can wear a hand-knitted sweater drape and still manage to come off both badass and sexy.

All the rest of these people including Jax could die and I wouldn't care. Well, maybe a slight twinge of care for Wendy, but that's about it.

The Marilyn Manson stunt casting was mildly amusing, but Malcolm Jamal Warner was even better. Theo Huxtable dropped out of Hillman and joined the Grim Bastards motorcycle gang, ya'll!

Well, since Unser is looking into Tara's murder, we know Gemma will never be held accountable. He'll figure it all out (surprised he hasn't already with how weird she and Juice have been acting), Gemma will sweet talk him or kill him. In her twisted mind she'll be going him a favor since he's dying anyway.

I'm shipping Wendy and Nero. Take the kids and run, y'all.

I have the first 3 episodes on my DVR and can't seem to make myself watch them. There always seems to be something better on, such as Love it or List reruns or Sheriff Callie.
