Gemma stabbing that guy in the penis was the second best scene of the episode. "Its a flesh wound."

Gemma kicks ass. I want her to kick the ass of that fake-lipped bitch of a FBI agent. She grates on my last nerves. Bitch is plain evil.
I don't think they are going to stretch out the Irish storyline for the entire season. 1) no one wants mopey Jax and 2) they've got enemies at home that are gonna be gunning for them. They'll have to wrap up the Irish storyline so they can get back to the business of protecting Charming.
I didn't like Tara at first, but now that she's mini-Gemma I'm like her more.

"I don't need a boy to handle my shit! You stay away from my family!" Oh man, it's a shame Gemma wasn't there to witness that! You know she would have been beaming with pride! Clay looked proud for her though!
Thank you T.V. Gods for shirtless Jax and wet in the shower Jax! Shallow? Why yes I am!
Kurt Sutter in interviews certainly makes it sound like the Irish will be a major part of the season. That's doesn't mean Jax stays mopey. I'm guessing he realizes he's doing Abel no favors by feeling sorry for himself and starts going to revenge mode. Clay and Tara will probably be relieved if that happens.
Katey Segal is such an underrated actress. One minute Gemma is the snarky gal we all know and love and the next she's so vulnerable and fragile while saying hello to her father. By the way am I the only who isn't surprised Gemma's dad is a reverend? It would certainly explain why Gemma began to show an interest in God and started reading the Bible not long after her rape.
What do you guys think of the theory that Hale's brother arranged for the drive by hoping to turn people against SAMCRO and it blew up in his face with Hale dying?
ETA: Also, where's Wendy? I know it was mentioned she's in a half-way house but that was awhile ago? Did she ultimately decide to take off and forget about Abel since it became obvious Jax wanted to be with Tara?

Anyone watch last night? Gee, I bet no one saw Opie losing it and busting up the porn party coming. Seriously, he knew what Lyla was when he got involved with her. He acts as if her giving head to guys, often at SAMCRO's request, is something new. Either he needs to get over it or dump her. Lyla is simply trying to do her job however unpleasant it may be. I have a feeling Opie is going to do something really stupid like marry Lyla to get her out of the lifestyle. The cleaner dude made Tigs look like a cuddley kitten (nice casting of Stephen King there)! The looks on Tigs and Gemma's face when the cleaner started feeling up the corpse were priceless! You are one creepy mother if Tigs is skeeved out by you. Tigs looked like he couldn't find the dude some 80's music fast enough so he could get him out of the house. This is the second time Tara has puked in span of a few days. Both times have perfectly reasonable explanations (seeing blood since Half-Sack's murder, getting whacked on the head, realizing you're going to have cover up another death, hiding stuff from Jax, etc.). But there is this part of me wondering if Tara has a Teller bun in her oven. Worst timing ever if so! Why are the Irish keeping Abel? It doesn't take a genius to know if you called up Clay and said, "Hey, I got your grandson! Want to make a deal?" that Clay's response would be, "Name the place and time!" They could own SAMCRO! So, why aren't they taking advantage of it? Is it somehow linked to Maureen's affair to John Teller (Jax is going to be thrilled when he finds out about that)? I am loving Jax and Clay's relationship so far this season!

I just watched it. I thought last week's episode was pretty boring but this one was better. It is still kind of draggy, I hope the action picks up soon but at least it seems like things are moving into place. Seriously, I can't believe SAMCRO would let Opie go to the party. I know they aren't the brightest guys but that was really stupid. What happened to Lyla's son? I know he got shot but did he survive? I do like Linn. He is a sick fuck but he is amusing. I wonder if Tom Arnold is going to show up again this season. I'm trying to remember, was it him or the white supremacists who killed Luanne? I still find the whole Abel is missing the least compelling part of the show. I can't help but laugh every time Jax tells someone in his super dramatic voice that they took his eight month old son. I don't know, I guess I feel like its false drama. Last season after Gemma was gang raped there was this sense that the white supremacists were capable of anything. I don't think that about the Irish, I don't really believe they are going to kill Abel. I would be shocked if Jax and his son are not reunited sometime this season. I never even thought about that. God I hope not. I love Hal Holbrook and he is heartbreaking as Gemma's dad but I can't help but be distracted by how womanly he looks now.

I was starting to think maybe Abel was in Vancouver based on SAMCRO's misinformation. Nice to see Cherry again although awww, Half Sack!
OK enough with Tara witnessing stabbings. I think she's seen her full for a while. Yikes.
Good episode but Opie's wearing me out. I think my faves are Jax, Tig and Juice, who needs more screentime.

I'd love to see Juice get a real storyline, I don't think he has really had one yet. I'm surprised Chibs hasn't had a bigger part this season yet since he has a connection to the main Irish guy.

I only know what Chibs is saying about 50% of the time...I always hope I'm not missing something critical when he speaks.

Your welcome!Yeah, I don't think the Irish are going to hurt Abel either. I think killer priest was being honest when he told Maureen he was going to give Abel to a good family. Still, the question is why is he not handing Abel over to Jax? Does he think Abel would be better off being raised away from the violence? Also, it would be nice if Jax remembered the boy's name isn't "My Kid". I generally do pretty good with Chibs but I do have trouble understanding some of the other Irish actors (or American actors doing bad Irish accents). I think it's because Chibs actually speaks up with some of the other Irish actors are mumbling.

Stephen King was cast appropriately as the cleaner. Ha! I love this show.
