With all her devious deeds, and her air of smugness, does she really think she'll rise to the top? The only bitches America loves are of the Dynasty Alexis Carrington variety. America loves their sweetheart (Julia , Sandra, and Reese) girls next door, not the bitchy neighbor. Somebody needs to tell her, and tell her quick: You need to fake 'til you make it. And honey, you haven't made it yet."

Wol, plz to be giving moar gossip? What can I say, I love hearing backstage dirt. ETA: When you say that everybody in Spring Awakening hated her, does that include Jenna Ushkowitz? I thought the two were friends. Is Jenna also a beyotch (which would explain her being friends with Lea) or one of those super-nice people who can get along with anyone (side note: that's how I've always rationalized the friendship between Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner)?

Since Lea and Jonathan Groff are BFF, does that mean he's also cray cray?
She seems to be close with all of her Glee castmates. Maybe she's one of those people who's good to her friends and horrible to everyone else. Or maybe the Glee cast will learn to hate her down the road.

I never get the impression that she's actually close with anyone from Glee. I feel like the supporting cast all get along pretty well, but that Lea kind of holds herself apart.
I used to feel like she and Dianna were really close, but I'm not sure if they still are.

LOL, I was just going to ask about Jonathan Groff. He seems like such a nice sweet guy. Could he really be friends with such a raging bitch diva, or is he a raging bitch diva too?
I was so turned off by her Rolling Stone interview. I was so disappointed to discover that she really is Rachel Berry. She was bragging about having perfect pitch and called the cheerleaders in her high school "slutty". Ugh. She does not seem humble at all.
As much as I believe that it is probably true that she is an entitled brat...God, I love her voice. It really is gorgeous and it is totally believable that she is portrayed as the best singer in Glee. She has a great belt, but it's not a harsh belt, it's smooth and gorgeous. I do agree with what someone said that her mannerisms/tics while singing are really annoying. The sqeezing her eyes and raising her foot off the ground are her trademark tics, but she needs to get rid of them.

Am I the only person who thinks her voice is kind of screechy? I mean she overdoes it every-time IMO. There was one episode where she was singing and I thought it was subtle and beautiful and just mesmerizing. It turned out it was Idina Menzel. I was cooking dinner at the time and wasn't looking at the screen. I just don't get the big deal with her.

I liked her voice in the beginning, and still like it on the first version of the Journey song, but it hurts my ears now. I know nothing about singing, but it now sounds like she's straining and screeching. And the scrunched up faces don't help either.

I need to hear her sing something non-Glee. I've always assumed the oversinging was in character--did she do that in Les Mis and Spring Awakening?

I was just on Youtube looking at some of her performances. Glee or Broadway, I'm still not impressed. Here's one from Spring Awakening. Here's a decent rendition of On My Own. I don't know why, but I get no passion or soul from her singing. She's like Beyonce to me in that way. You can hit all the high notes, vibrato, trills, and all, but with no emotion behind it, it's meaningless.
