I never watched the show, but Amber Riley and Alex Newell also commented.
Then I saw a tweet of her saying she had cried so hard when she didn't get the role of Maria in West Side Story because she had even learned Spanish.
2020 is really something else.

Jesus. Come on people! I never got into any of the background drama on Glee, but always felt bad for her when all that went down with Cory Monteith's death.
Well like Yvette Nicole Brown said, Hollywood has some deep shit that comes out about people and their two-faced ways.

Willam Belli, the drag queen, tweeted about how poorly she treated him on the set of Glee.

I never watched Glee. Was Yvette Nicole Brown on that show? I loved her on Community.
I seem to remember rumors about Michele's nastiness but after her boyfriend died they subsided because people felt really sorry for her.

No, but she co-starred with Michele in The Mayor which was a short lived sitcom on ABC. Count me in as one of those that felt really sorry for her after Cory Monteith passed away. I always felt that she was like Rachel Berry in real life, but I didn't know her bad behavior seemed to go beyond just being a run of the mill diva into something very ugly.

Yeah, Lea always has rumors of her ugly behavior. They persisted even after Cory died but they never gained any mainstream traction due to pity or whatever. But they were always there. I never liked her and I always believed the other. Several people can’t be all wrong.

Guess who's getting hit with some cancel culture? She probably sticks pins in a Sarah Paulson doll now that Sarah is clearly Ryan Murphy's muse of choice.

It hasn’t been a good day for Ryan Murphy’s cast. Lea, Ryan Guzman and Evan Peters have all been outed as racists. Couldn’t stand not a one before so no big deal for me to ignore them.

Issues an apologyTho I saw on twitter last night a food company had ended their association with her. So cynical me wonders about timing......

I don't know about the racist part - it seems like Lea is horrendous to everyone. That actually seems to be the defense she is using. She's been terrible to a lot of people, but it seems like there are more stories from women of color than anyone else. And what she said to this particular woman was specifically a racial remark. I'm glad we're back to not liking her.
