*finishes wolfing down a blueberry muffin*
Which “Calorie Counter”, WitchyPoo? Calorie tracker by livestrong, Tap & Track, Calorie counter & diet tracker by My Fitness Pal, Calorie counter pro by my net diary, Calorie counter by my net diary, CalorieSmart by Coheso, Calorie Counter by FatSecret, Calorie Counter by caloriecount.com… I’ve been looking for one, but there are so many!
My favorite app is my Facebook app, but after that, city transit (so great for finding out the public tranport lines in NYC), the proboards app that lets me surf this site easily, weather app, mapquest (with walking feature!), just starting to use Splash Travel and finally, the Fifa World Cup app was the bomb during the monthly activities. My phone acted like a radio during that time period.

I found a really great new text app for my Droid. It's called SwiftKey, and it's intuitive -- it figures out what the next word you type is likely to be, and you can just tap to select it. It's kind of creepy, the way it learns from the way you type/talk, but it makes texting super fast.
Also? I was kind of delighted when my sister texted to ask me what "FML" means, because she's been seeing it everywhere, and when I typed out "f--- my," it automatically came up with "life." Heh.
Oh God, I love Pandora. Other Droid apps I find useful? PDANet, which lets me tether my phone to my laptop and use it as a modem if I can't get WiFi. Launcher Pro lets you add more "home" screens that you can scroll through really easily. I also have a couple of MP3 downloading apps, as well as Amazon MP3, so I just keep all my music on my phone now.
Also fun for both Droid and iPhone: Shazam. It's the "what's that song?" app, where you can use it to identify a song for you by title and artist. The Bump app lets you transfer files to someone also by just "bumping" your hand with theirs (while holding the phone, of course). It's kind of cool.

Sometimes technology really creeps me out. How do they do that?!

I use the one by FatSecret. I only chose that one because my friend used it and like it. I've only had my phone a little over a week so I'm still discovering apps for it. There's definitely a few I'll look into after reading past posts.

Holy crap, I was just kidding about cowbells when I started the thread, you mean there's really an app for more cowbell? *hides in shame for being so stoopid*I basically know how to turn on my iPhone, make a phone call and listen to music. Clearly I need to pull my finger out. There must be an app for that.

May I just say how sad I am that the ProBoards app is only for the iPhone?

May I just say how sad I am that the ProBoards app is only for the iPhone? I've asked ProBoards about this and they said they will develop the app for other platforms if demand requires it. If the iPhone app takes off, then I'm sure we'll see other versions soon.

I know! I want a ProBoards app for the Droid. It's kind of a pain to pull boards up on the mobile browswer.
