Anyone else have a Droid? I just got my Incredible last week and I was totally overwhelmed until a day or so ago. I think the most important app I've found so far is Call Confirm...I was probably calling about 5 people a day by accident while just trying to program their numbers! Really embarrassing. Thanx for this - I just installed it. Hopefully, it will prevent butt-dialing.

Haha. My husband and his coworker both have Droids (the original model), and they both butt-dial me occasionally. She (the coworker) does it so much that as soon as I pick up the phone, I say "hello" once or twice, then just hang up and text her, "Another butt-dial?" Hubby has only done it once or twice, but then insisted he didn't ("It's not possible to do that on a Droid!"). I'm like, "Check your call log, buddy."
That's a cool app. When I had my Droid, I accidentally called people all the time -- not a butt-dial, but more what bklynred described -- I'd be adding or editing a contact and accidentally call the person.

Ha. Oh, butt dials.
Ooh, is there anything similar for iPhone, anyone know?

I just wish someone had told me how much juice smartphones eat. Dear Gawd, mine practically lives on it's charger.

SweetO, do you use live wallpaper? I just had to change mine when I found out how much energy it was blowing through.

What is live wallpaper? I installed the Call Confirm app. Works perfectly. Thanks!

It's like regular wallpaper but the graphic "moves" (like bubbles or grass blowing in the breeze). Cute but really drains the battery.

No, but the guy warned me that a lot of apps running in the background will drain the battery. I downloaded Advanced Task Killer and that seems to help a little. Also, keeping the wifi on sucks power as well. I've looked it up, and my phone actually has a decent battery life as far as smartphones go. Guess I've got to get used to it.

I have to say, the battery on my iPhone 4 lasts forever. My Droid would always die by the end of the day, but even if I use navigation or the iPod app (the music player and GPS were a HUGE battery drain for the Droid), my phone typically doesn't run out of juice before I go to bed.

I'd say mine lasts about 1.5 days...vs my old Samsung LG which could push about 4 days without recharging if I forgot. It definitely takes getting used to.
