Ladies: I'm looking for an app for Shark Week record-keeping. I am using one but it doesn't let me change the luteal phase each month. I'm 40 and pre-menopausal (I think) so, well, things are so consistent.

The ProBoards app is useless to me since it doesn't take you to the first unread post like the "NEW" button does online -- you just automatically go to the first post of the last page. I hope they fix this since it works really well otherwise. My favourite app by far is Lose It, the best of all the calorie counting apps out there IMO. I've lost 30-ish pounds this year using it to log my food. Plus it's free! I just started using Lose It!, too! It's making me realize just how much my random snacking adds up. I can't find the Greecie boards on the ProBoards app. I can't find the Greecie boards either ... any tips on how to search? My favorite camera apps are Hipstamatic, Quad Camera (lets you take multiple shots in a row), Diptic (collage of like photos) and PS Express (great for lightening iPhone pics, adding contrast, cropping, etc). Am also addicted to Words with Friends and Scrabble.

That's it. Should bring you right here.

I just downloaded Culinary Fundamentals - Cooking School and it is amazing! I like to cook, have been cooking a long time and enjoy the cooking shows, and can now grill a perfect steak and make the perfect scallop because of them, but I am woefully uneducated on other culinary fronts. I'm not about to memorize cookbooks, much as I enjoy reading them, and the 5 minute (or longer!) videos lose me after a time.
Enter this App.....
260 teaching videos, none over 45 seconds long. I never knew how to coddle and egg, (place room temp egg in boiling water, immediately remove from heat, cook to perference.)
I know how to make rice, but not this "correct" way, 10 parts water to 1 part rice, boil 10 minutes, strain, refresh in cold water, strain again.
See? That's all there is! For the bullet point cook, I love this app. Word of warning, there are many videos to download, and somethings they get bottlenecked. I just rebooted the iPhone and continued on.
Next, calamari rings....

My friend and I were thinking there should be an app that randomly generates Urban Dictionary style phrases. Mostly because Deuce Bigalow cracked me up, until I realized that all those goofy sex acts they were talking about are supposed to be real. (Sorry, but Irish Facial will always make me giggle, and I do not want to know what it really is.)

Anyone else have a Droid? I just got my Incredible last week and I was totally overwhelmed until a day or so ago. I think the most important app I've found so far is Call Confirm...I was probably calling about 5 people a day by accident while just trying to program their numbers! Really embarrassing.

Hurray for Droids! This is my first personal smartphone, I have a work blackberry but it's really not the same. The intuitive keyboard is taking some getting used to but otherwise I really dig it. And it works so freakin' fast. Hard to believe I was on a b&w Palm with a stylus only a few years back.
