I think the new princess was born just after midnight on Friday (Swedish time). She's a cutie who looks just like her dad.

It’s drama. Not so much for Madeleine as her kids are being raised in America. She had until this year to bring Leonore back to be raised in the Swedish education system or forfeit Leonore’s place in the line of succession. But removing CP’s kids? The favored child? Whoo boy! I bet there were some arguments behind the scenes. Someone on CB said it was optics. Couldn’t bounce Madd’s kids and leave CP’s. Someone also noted this was about a request from CG to increase the apanage of the family without producing receipts for why it was needed. Oops.

If it's a move that needed to be made long term, perhaps better for the King to do it now rather than leave it up to Victoria to do as Queen. That is not something that would improve sibling harmony, I don't think.

That is not something that would improve sibling harmony, I don't think. I feel like this is a common thing for all royal houses: they can't sustain the exponential growth in members that would occur if all family members are included through successive generations and have to limit inclusion to those in the direct line of succession.
