Princess Madeleine (Sweden)

She is absolutely stunning! An accomplished equestrian and an art history graduate, she's the youngest daughter of King Carl Gustaf. Having lived in London, England for a short while to improve her English - and experience a different culture - she moved back to Stockholm to avoid the aggressive paparazzi.

As of January 2006, she and her boyfriend (it was quite scandalous) became residents of New York City, where she works for UNICEF. She made her first trip to the Ukraine to visit orphanages, and the trip went very well.

She actually is very good looking. Sometimes she kills it though by dying her hair too blonde and being too darn tan. But in that picture in the Wikipedia link, she looks beautiful.

Does anyone know how tall she is? She and Victoria look pretty tall compared to Carl.

The Swedish royals in general seem like a decent bunch of people. Nice to hear about Madeleine working with UNICEF. Good for her.

I agree - their family seems to put an emphasis on charitable works. For her age (early 20s), Princess Madeleine seems very mature, down-to-earth, and well-adjusted (considering her position!)

She made the trip to the Ukraine with her mother, the Queen of Sweden.

And CoffeeCakes, I don't know her height exactly, but in photos she seems quite tall.

I agree. I like the Swedish royals. Madeleine is gorgeous. I love her sense of style, too.

Hmmm...are they actually well-aquainted? I assume that they've met before at a royal function at some point. She's certainly eligible!

After reading recent Hello! magazines (UK version), however, I'm under the impression that William is quite content with his current girlfriend, Kate Middleton. Apparently they've been together for a a couple of years now (ever since meeting in university in Scotland.) She's from a middle class background, not connected to royalty at all...but apparently very level-headed, smart, and talented.

So I doubt Princess Madeleine is in his sights at all. I'm all ears if there were any incidents in the past, however!

From what I hear she was mobbed by paparazzi while in London improving her English. Generally I don't think she would be able to handle it.

You're probably right. Being the future Queen of England would of course be ultra-high-profile, compared to the relative obscurity of Swedish royal life. She'd need some preparation for that - which she's only gotten in smaller doses.

Now I'm extra curious if she and Prince William have ever had a date or any kind of set-up!
