It always seems to me like they're going for some sort of weird Victorian titillation thing with that ad. "Ooooh, you can see her ankles!"

I like the Venture card ads with the goat. I like it scat singing (I think that's what it's called) in New Orleans with the street band. I stop what I'm doing and watch the goat. I like their old ads where the bouncer let the animal in but not the barbarians with it. The way the one guy said, "But we're with him" cracked me up. I also hate the whispering car ad and hit mute immediately. And I dislike the weird hand thing McDonald's ad too. Interesting sidenote - the guy that says "But we're with him" was Ogre from "Revenge of the Nerds" - Donald Gibb

I love all of the Viking credit card commercials. I think in this area they're for Capital one.

McDonald's has an ad now for their crap coffee drinks, where a couple does this weird synchronized hand and arm dance as they drink their crap coffee. It makes me incredibly embarrassed for them, they're so proud of their little dance, and just...why? Why are they this excited about bad, sugar-laden coffee? Why aren't they at work? Why is everyone else in the McDonald's amused with this and not mildly terrified? Ack! I hate that commercial. It is so weird. They're so frikkin' smug about it. Why? Who thought this was a good idea? THANK YOU!! Now I know I'm not alone in my intense searing hatred for everything about this commercial -- I hate the hand dancers, I hate the music, I hate that it has nothing to do with coffee, I hate that McDonald's is even in the fancy coffee business now -- HAAAAATE! Whew -- maybe I need to cut down on the coffee . . .

MrL rages every time that commercial comes on, which is funny, because he's very calm. I rage about everything; he rages about very little. It is an incredibly annoying commercial.

Great weird 30's music, the "dancers" totally expressionless...then McDonald's comes in and totally screws it up. No more weirdly awesome music, no more casual 30's attire. And the worst? Told the cute couple to SMILE and EMOTE and HAVE FUN.....all of which RUINED IT!

GE commercial with dancing baby elephant - I love you. The two that I have seen are the cutest commercials ever.

I hate the mom in the Windows 7 ad who is photoshopping the perfect family greeting card from various pictures -- at the end, she says something like "Windows 7 gives me the perfect family that nature never could!" and her husband seriously looks so hurt that he's about to cry. I know they're a fictional ad couple but I hope he leaves her bitch-ass and runs off with a Mac user.
I do like the other Windows 7 though featuring folks being delayed at the airport. One, because the fake show they're watching is 'Celebrity Parole Violations' (or something like that) and, two, because of the way the girl says "yaaaaaaay, cloud" at the end. The dude is also easy on the eyes and I don't normally go for blondes.
Did JC Penney buy enough ads during tonight's Oscar telecast? Talk about overkill.

Or like "The Ankle Show" is a song in praise of some odd sexual practice. (Ankle jobs, I guess.) Just saw JLo's Venus commercial. At the end, she says something like, "Leave your legs smooth, and your goddess... beautiful." For a moment, I thought "goddess" was a euphemism like Jennifer Love Hewitt's "precious lady." My mind is in the gutter, apparently.

I do love the fact that J. Lo is now low-rent enough to do razor ads.
Was it a Venus ad a few years back where unkempt bushes and topiaries would shrink into cute trimmed triangles as ladies walked by? That was barely euphemistic.
