Thank Goodness! Don't ever scare me like that again. I thought for sure this was some bad news. Anyway, I like him. I don't know that much about him as he was way before my time, but he seems like a cool guy. He looks great for his age and it's great to see that he can still do so well in Hollywood.

I was watching the Last Unicorn on dvd with the german language track and was amazed how the actor dubbing King Haggard sounded like Christopher Lee, vocal nuances and all.
Imagine the shock when I found out it WAS Christopher Lee repeating his entire vocal performance in perfect German! ;D

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this thread, so glad to know he's still alive and well.
I love him as Saruman and was pissed when they cut out his part in The Two Towers the version they released in the theater.

Nope, not dead yet, just a thread dedicated to one of the most memorable actors of all time, especially when he's playing bad guys, like Dracula, Sauron, Count Dooku or Pa Wonka. Discuss all things Christopher Lee here- if you dare! As a rabid Lord of the Rings fan, I cringe. SARUMAN.

Yeesh-what part of "not dead yet" did y'all not understand? (Just kidding! ;D) Any reason why this week of all weeks, he's having the Best Week Ever? I mean, I could understand a while ago, with LotR and Star Wars and all, but this week? Why? Because he lived through it? Because he's in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which debuted at #1 last week. Sorry. Mustn't offend the Hobbits.

When I was growing up he was Dracula in the movies I went to. It wasn't until I was older that I learned there were other actors who played Dracula. To me, he was Dracula and I had a bit of crush on him as Drac.

Dude, guy reads LOTR once a year...AND he met Tolkien!!
Try and tell me he's not wicked awesome (okay, there's that little thing about being in the movies too).
Seriously, though, man is awesome.

When it comes to evil, nobody does it better.
I should read Lee's autobiography. He seems to have had such an interesting life.
He's also the voice of Death in the animated versions of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. That's pretty perfect.
