Bigger picture on the Fail - who are THEY connected to in this scandal? Who owns them, what's the leadership/ownership connection to the Epstein scandal? I feel like their lack of coverage is more about protecting their own ass than Prince fucking Andrew's. I mean who gives a shit about him really? Queenie could pitch him overboard and no one would notice for a few weeks at least.

It's not like Prince Andrew is a hugely popular figure in the UK, or in the British press. Remember "Air Miles Andy"? He's always been seen as kind of an overbearing, arrogant oaf, so I don't see why the press in the UK would "protect" him in anyway. If anything, they'd get a boost out of going after him. |

The Daily Beast has a story about Andrew behind their paywall. It makes Andrew sound super sleazy, but in the stories mentioned, he was only going after pretty young women in their early 20s. I also saw a story on the Fail, but didn't bother to look at it.
Maybe the story is starting to drip into the British media...

But he doesn't only go after women in their early 20s; there is a picture of him in this 2015 Guardian article looking extremely excited to be with 17-year-old Virginia Roberts in Ghislaine Maxwell's London home. Also a photo of him walking in Central Park NY with Epstein, long AFTER Epstein was convicted on the earlier pedophile and trafficking charges. This is the photo that finally put an end to his fun, lucrative job as British trade ambassador; the Cameron government decided they couldn't put him out there representing Britain anymore. Epstein was a guest at Balmoral and Sandringham, invited by Andrew. Sarah Ferguson got a giant pot of money from Epstein to pay off some of her ridiculous debts. It's probably one of the main reasons there is so much animosity between him and Charles; Andrew directly exposed the Royal Family to Epstein by being so fucking stubborn about their friendship. |

I agree with all of that. I was just pointing out, that the stories are starting back up in the tabloids, and with each successive story, maybe we'll get a little more dirt on just how bad Andrew really is (instead of using the Cambridge/Sussex kids as cover or going after Meghan for almost everything).
I still think Piers is linked to this, so I won't count on the Fail, but I hope other papers start up with the stories. I would love it if Andrew was stripped of his HRH title and place in line for the throne (kind of like Felipe's sister Cristina was).

Yeah they media think things stink between Will and Harry, as soon as Charles ascends I’m stockpiling popcorn and taking a seat to watch the Chuck and Andy fireworks.

I really couldn't see this happening - not while the Queen's alive, anyway. I'm not sure it'd happen after, either, as the RF tend to cover up huge scandals as long as they can.
