I admit I am not an expert on Ms. Munn's body of work, but based on the glimpses I've seen on her blog, Attach of the Show, and The Daily Show, she is just not funny.

Oy. Nothing I've seen or heard about this gal is appealing.
I'm almost disappointed at the way Tina Fey defended her against the slaughter she got at Jezebel. I get the point Tina was making about women tearing down other women who use their sexuality, but...Tina, honey. Olivia just isn't funny. I don't know what went down at Jezebel or how vicious people were, but...she's just not funny.
Seriously. Kristen Schaal is cute, twisted and hilarious. Where's her damn show (other than her brilliant voice work on Bob's Burgers)?

Which is what many of the Jezebel comments stated in Jezebel's now infamous story about The Daily Show and it's sexist hiring practices. Olivia is mentioned in that story because she had recently debuted on the show and it was mentioned if she managed to survive it would be the first time in seven years a female comedian managed to stay. Jezebel did talk to some female comedians that were pissed about Olivia Munn's hiring because she's not funny and it was pretty painfully obvious by the producer's comments she got hired for her looks. The story was more critical to TDS than Olivia.
I never found her funny before the Jezebel story but didn't have any negative feelings toward her. Actually, I kinda felt bad for her because some of the Star Trek fans did not take her fling with Chris Pine well (heaven help any girl that ruins the Pinto fantasies). Then, the Jezebel story happened and she opened her mouth. According to her anybody that criticizes her just a fat jealous hater. Oh and she can't be a feminist because she actually likes men and she doesn't think feminism is necessary. After reading those comments I couldn't stand her.

Is she the one who said we're all fat, jellus, sandwich eating haters? If so - yeah, I hate her.

I can't believe someone this mediocre managed to get an A-plot storyline devoted to her on 30 Rock. She was weakest link on freaking Perfect Couples for crying out loud.
<----- Team Schaal all the way
Oh, and never having heard of Jezebel says far more about her and the writers of the Daily Show than it does about prominence of Jezebel and the people who read it.

Yes. And now in this most recent incident, she tells her foes she's rich and they'll be suck-ups all their lives. She seems like one of those folks who can only build themselves up by tearing others down. That speaks of deep insecurity, immaturity and potential self-loathing. A hotness killer if ever there was one.
Plus she's just NOT! FUNNY! A good comedian would come up with much better come back lines.

She was on the TDS last night with a story about Tiger Moms and continued her streak of being painfully unfunny.

This! Okay, as a Tina Fey fan who is currently enjoying her new book, I am having this reaction to her too. I understand Fey's defense of women in the industry as a feminist, but once they prove to be an a-hole all bets are off. I'm having a hard time reconciling Fey's defense for Munn, and that was before I realized she was on the suckiest show that ever sucked, Couples, and that's even including Outsourced, which is starting to grow on me a little, like fungus. Munn seems...like she's not adjusting well to fame.

Having heard bits and pieces about her personal life, she came into the industry with a ton of baggage. I see increasingly erratic behaviour and maybe even rehab in her future.

It's a cliche but it's also true that tons of comedians have fucked-up pasts/baggage/neuroses but, unlike them, Olivia isn't talented enough to translate those dark parts of her life into actual humor.
