All I can say is if I was 18 (as Zoe was) and my mom brought Jason Home .... Well family loyalty would be very difficult. He's actually closer to Zoe's age than Lisa's, how weird is that? Hey if men can do it why can't women, and it isn't as if Lisa isn't drop dead gorgeous.

Lisa Bonet is, in my opinion, a lot better looking than her daughter Zoe. Sometimes I think Zoe can look pretty with the right clothes, make-up, etc. But generally speaking, I don't find her particularly cute, in fact she can be downright fug sometimes. Not to mention that she looks a lot older than she is. When I see pics of her, I can't help but wonder why she isn't better looking. Her parents are Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, and I think both of them are very attractive.

Back to Jason, he is one gorgeous man. And I agree that we are only getting one side of the story as far as the break up goes. Any number of things could have happened; and I know more than one woman who did get dumped and flat out refused to accept it, until there was no denying it anymore. (i.e. guy married new chick, had a kid, etc)

I am going to see Conan opening weekend thanks to Momoa. Well him, Ron Perlman, and Stephen Lang.

Well, he didn't stay 22 for the whole length of their relationship. A six year age difference isn't a big deal once people are in their twenties and plenty of 22 year old guys are husbands and fathers. Would it have made a difference if she was also 22 and he treated her that way after 7 years together? Anyway, he went straight from Simmone to another long-term relationship, with children this time, so he obviously was old enough to be committed, just not to her.

I think Simmone had a right to be pissed at the time and I tend to believe her version of events. It fits with what Jason's mother was saying at the time - she obviously thought he was still with Simmone when he was already hooking up with Lisa.

That being said, it was a long time ago and just because he did wrong in one relationship, doesn't mean he's destined to be a dog for the rest of his days. I'm sure it's water under the bridge for all involved. In regards to Jason and Lisa's relationship, I'd say her past with Lenny Kravitz indicates she wouldn't put up with cheating or want an open relationship. Jason plays the guitar, but can he make an album like Mama Said? Because even that didn't sway her.

I'm not sure about Mama Says, but I know that Kravitz cheated on her and that Buddy X by Neneh Cherry was about his cheating.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Lenny basically slept with every groupie going and when Lisa found out and dumped him, Mama Said was his attempt to woo her back, thus songs like Stand By My Woman and It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over. It didn't work.

They got together at a VERY young age - late teens/very early 20s. They married on her 20th birthday and had Zoe about a year later. I think they saw themselves as soulmates given their similar backgrounds/interests: Both are biracial, part Jewish, insanely good looking hippie types.

But yeah, Lenny was a dog. Is he a reformed dog? Eh, I don't think so. Notably, Jason cheated by going from one committed relationship to another. So maybe he's the "in love with love" type. In contrast, I think Lenny was just sowing his wild oats when he got out on the road. Neither type of behavior is excusable but the context is different.

Tom & Lorenzo critique Jason's red carpet look. They have a point about the Conan the Librarian look, but who expects a hippie to own the red carpet ?

The day he starts worrying about the red carpet is the day I expect he'll trade Lisa in for a younger starlet. Which I hope does not happen. So I'll take him sloppy.

Interview with NY Magazine in which Jason claims he's written new Drogo scenes that the makers of Game of Thrones might use. Uh, OK.

It's hard to resist pointing out the similarities between Drogo and Conan. And yet they are distinctly different.
I’m so glad you say that, because everyone else only sees the obvious overlaps: They’re both shirtless, they don’t speak a lot, they’re both extremely aggressive. They’re both considered barbarians, even though they’re more civilized than the supposed “civilized” people who are manipulative and conniving and killing thousands of people. But Conan is nothing like Drogo. It was a lot of fun to play Drogo. There’s a possibility you’ll see me do him again.
